Premium Member Mike and Stephanie's Wedding Collaboration With Leokadia Durmaj

It is a beautifully warm and sunny day.
Here in the pleasant spring month of May.
It is the month's very first Saturday.
It is here in this place, I am to marry Elaine's daughter.
The church is full of flowers in each corridor.
The organ plays the melody of Richard Wagner.

What I see next is such a lovely sight.
My Stephanie draped in her gown of white.
She appears as a lovely delight!
Standing alongside of me,
she appears a bit misty,
as the priest begins the ceremony:

Dear family and friends of Michael and Stephanie,
we've gathered to witness these two in matrimony.

Michael, will you take this woman Stephanie to be your wife?

It was quite a long time for me to wait for this day.
However, it has arrived, and here is what I say:
You now stand before me. In your sapphire eyes I see,
a sparkling of unending love between you and me.
The joining of our hands exemplifies unity.
Symbolizing relationship in complacency.
Our universe continues to unfold endlessly.
Each star’s light shines upon us until eternity.
As we both live, they shall guide us on our life’s journey.
May we both come to share in a plentiful harvest.
As He looks down on us, and makes us forever blessed,
May we come to share happiness, until final rest.
Now mutuality is considered coalesced.

Stephanie, will you take this man Michael to be your husband?

I love you because you are special to me
In everything you do
You make me laugh
And touch my heart with your kindness
Your words expressed so lovingly
All I want to do is be near you
I want to feel your arms around me
Holding me close to your heart
Now take me on this journey
As we unite as one
For the rest of our life

To be with you
Is like music
That enters my heart
Soft and gentle in you’re loving ways
You came to me from afar
Showed me how to give love never ending
And receive it back
Completely surrendering

Tonight a thousand stars will look down on us
And Angel’s sing
Of our great love
A kiss from heaven is sent
It enters our hearts
Our souls have touched
Never to part
My love I give to you
As pure as the snow
Take it my love
It’s a gift from the heart
To remember this day
Until death do us part

By the power invested in me
by the Diocese and State's authority,
I proclaim Michael and Stephanie
in the bond of Holy Matrimony.
May you live and grow happily!

Falling

~ Falling ~

I was a little girl with so many dreams
Even through the worst of times
I kept my chin up and let
My dreams keep me alive
I was okay
Until my dreams got crushed
And my worst fear came true

~ Falling ~

With no dreams to lean on
As I started to go throw the changes
I was a teenager
With a huge chip on my shoulder
If you weren’t with me you were against me
I had many friends
Yet most of them were superficial
I never let anyone get too close.
I was too afraid of
~ Falling ~

As the years went by I slowly came into my own
I became a woman
With many scars hidden inside
Yet it seemed like one word shined brightly on my head
SUCKER
As so many times I thought I had found that one
Someone only to find out
That they weren’t that person I wanted them to be
They were only taking advantage of me
I didn’t understand why
I seemed to keep

~ Falling ~

Finally I moved back closer to home
I found an apartment and made it my home
I was doing well on my own
Then I met You
First we were friends
For three years our friendship grew and grew
Then we both admitted
The feelings we had for one another were
Way more than friends
So we began to date
Then a few short months later we moved in together
And before we knew it
Our wedding was here
I started to feel secure
I was starting to get over my fear of

~ Falling ~

Then boom the bomb dropped and I caught
A glimpse of someone I never knew you to be
While you never raised a hand at me
You never did anything to hurt me physically
It’s your words though
That cut right through me
And it became apparent that we were never meant to be
More than friends
Looking back I can see so many signs
That before I couldn’t see
And if I had known then what I know now
I would never have begged you to stay
The first time you wanted to walk out that door.
Now you are gone and here I am
Moving on
At first I didn’t think I could
I thought my world was ending
I couldn’t see that a new chapter in my life was just
Beginning
And while I will always love you
That love has changed
It is not as deep anymore
As I am

~ Falling ~

Out of love with you

Laughing Devil Saddens Me On Happy a Occasion

Was having gala time with friends in Niece's marriage function
Spirited friends thought of having bhang* for fun of rarity
Greedy of mild floater effect, scary of hangover, finally gave in for fun
Toast raised with glass of 'bhang', few more and began party
Intoxicated, Laughing Monster seized me, laughed with insanity
Friends tried all to normalise laughing tantrum
But monstrous laugh only gained momentum

Panic mounted, as I was summoned by Panditji*for marriage ritual
As a maternal unclr, had to perform customary ritual with bride-groom
Stuck with intoxicated laugh, but serious was ritual, embarrassed one and all
Gained normalcy post ceremony, cursed self, all fired, pity having no room
Pledged never to indulge in bhang, took a life-time vow soon
Marriage album without my ritual snap, still condemns me
Memory of laughing devil, on happy a occasion still saddens me
..................................................................................................................................

PS (*) :
a) Bhang - Indian hemp, a milk concoction, having potential of ***** intoxication
& narcotic effect. Intoxication high results in mad indulgence of repetitive action
for many hours. The action, one is engaged in at the beginning time of knock-out
state perpetuates for many hours e.g if one was laughing... he will continue to
laugh for many hours....

b) Panditji – Priest performing marriage ritual

I (Inevitably) Did

I really didn't like her, but
her form was suffocating me!
Who'd doubt her beauty was well carved:
a man with sense enough to flee?

If so, such sense eluded me;
I promptly took her vacant hand
and donned my darkest nuptial suit,
surrendering to fate's demand.

My eyes grew pale, expression bland,
with nothing but her brittle smile
to keep my body bordered in
the destined vow I thought worthwhile.

And as we walked that scarlet aisle,
the people showered us with love:
some threw bewitching blood bouquets;
some shed their tears into their gloves.

Her father gave me but a shove
into her needy open arms.
And who was I to disregard
the key to my beloved's charms?

He knew that I could never harm
what grew from his paternal bark;
he too threw prickly patronage
with silver smile, tuxedo dark.

Some close companions left the park;
their sniffles so appropriate;
though, secretly, a few were glad
to know my life was finally set.

My kindred was uncertain, yet
they knew her beauty would go far,
and so they left me in her care,
forever their untimely scar.

I drove away with her; my car
felt cramped from silent air so ill.
It was too late to incremate
our bond: "part ye do death until."

I really didn't like her; still,
I lied in pulpous bed all snug;
she smothered me with watchful eyes,
and furnished me an endless hug.

Wedding Day

I can say that I had a bit of a headache.
We should have had more drinkers
If we planned to float the keg.
I left in plenty of time...to be on time.
I had my tuxedo complete with shoes.
And, maybe those aspirin would do the job!

Well she was upset...There's no such thing as 'on time'!
Lots of pictures needed to be taken...
This day must be recorded...not repeated!
My brother...the Best Man...forgot his tux!
He wore Robert's...another brother.
I felt bad for him.

I'll never forget standing up front
Waiting for her to enter.
Then they played the song.
I didn't have a headache anymore.
She was BEAUTIFUL....
Of course!

I watched as she approached with her dad.
He looked relieved to put her hand in mine.
It was like a foreboding moment...
But don't worry...It's all been good!
I just wish she could forgive me
For forgetting my street shoes!

When we left the reception
With me in my tux shoes,
Johnny gave me his mastercard,
"Put the motel on this," he said.
Good thing - I had One Hundred Thirty
Dollars to my name!

We drove straight to our little duplex
And spent the first night together...
We were so tired, we went straight to sleep.
We would have wedding cake for breakfast!
The rest of the story is yet unwritten,
But so far...So good!

Premium Member Will He Be

Will he be my lover...
Will he be my friend...
Will he be the one who's with me...
to the very end.

Will he be the one...
who tells me
that I'll always be his Queen...
that I possess the greatest beauty...
of any woman he's ever seen.

Will he be the one...
that puts the light back in my eyes...
to make them sparkle and glimmer,
Will he be the one to dispense
with all life's lies.

Will he be the one to hold me...
forever and a day...
Will he be the one to love me...
as if every month were May.

Will he be the one to comb back
my hair
and hold it in his hand

Will he be the one
to whisper to me
sweetly in my ears...

Will he be the one that I'll always want
that I'll forever want to be near.

Will he be the one
whose reflections...
alway make me think anew...
who makes me a better person...
who never makes me blue.

Will he be my vision..
of all I'll ever want
that I'll want to remain forever
as two combined into one.

Will his very memory..
always occupy my mind
Will my thoughts and dreams of him
Hauntingly resonate,
until the end of time.

To My Sister On Her Wedding Day

I opened my eyes and you were there
I cried for the first time, you still were
I looked up at you as I crawled on the floor
So happy you were, running through the door
I stood up on my feet and followed your footsteps
Innocently smiling, you watched as I made my first steps
We both grew older and started the fights
Still we’d play and laugh on hot summer nights
And on dark freezing winter days,
I’d fall asleep in your warm embrace

A real best friend I’ve found in you
Like a mother’s love; so sweet, so true
How lucky I was, life seemed so fair
Smothered with tremendous love and care
You taught me how love can be unconditional
You showed me such love was real, not fictional
You showed me how in two bodies one soul can dwell
And what it meant to be a sister’s protective shell
Sharing my life with you has been a great pleasure
Our sisterhood will remain my truly greatest treasure

You’ve now become a beautiful bride
And I look at you with indescribable pride
I wish you a lifetime full of love and delight
I wish to always see your smile shining so bright

Mr and Mrs Mcguinness

Having met my Skinbob, over the net
i am still meeting now, friends of hers yet
i was introduced to her best friends first
Gail and Laura was no reverse.

They put me at ease, and made me smile
and then after a little while
we went on from there strength to strength
brought me out of my shell, to any lengths

After two years and sussing people out
Skins mate, Laura is with a shadow of doubt
a genuine woman, with family of three girls to call
and her childhood sweetheart, newly wed Paul

All the family off to Cyprus, for a fairytale wedding
but on the day Nika fell ill, hospital bedding
however, the wedding really had to go on
a perfect couple that is second to none.

                                      CONGRATULATIONS PAUL AND LAURA McGUINNESS

Premium Member Open To Suggestion

Open to suggestion I’ve always been

Single gals were called as I sipped sloe gin

      Roses wilting in the heat

Why did they land at MY feet?

Catching the bridal bouquet did me in

The garter was tossed high into the air

A swarm of men scrambled, I eyed the stairs

I said, “Keep an open mind”

     The catcher was twenty-five!

Despite my age, he proposed then and there

He slid the garter quite far up my thigh

I didn’t realize; the booze made me high

Sloe gin I’ll ne’er touch again

‘Cause I forgot to say, “When!”

And now I’m still getting calls from this guy

True story – caught the bouquet at my nephew’s wedding. My nephew’s YOUNG friend
caught the garter and proposed while my family broke out into laughter. I later gave it back
to him and told him that although “I’m Open to Suggestion,” I thought he deserved a
younger bride.

Enslaved By Love

I want you to hear my melody
but i can't write
the right love song for you
I want you to open up your heart to me
but i can't make the words make sweet love to you

my heart is pouring out
my love is also real
I'm hoping now someday
you can believe
that with each and every breath
I am breathing it , finely just for you

now come take me as i am
love me in your timeless bliss
open up your heart to me
and love me as i am

there is no other
and you will be my last
this is our love song
this is our hearts
beating fast

so touch my heart
and lay down your head
I want you to hear my melody
I want you to open up your heart to me
this is the right love song for you and me
