Premium Member Seeking Black

I found myself wanting to be angry and vile,
seeking black, looking hard for him
in all the dark places, lingering a while.
Black has his own ways, unknown to mortals-
slinking out and in mysterious portals.
time be traveling, perching on a gloomy rim.

He is illusive and not easy to find.
Hidden from me in recesses I cannot follow
Black outshone me, reading my unsophisticated mind.
He was the victor, reaping the spoils of war.
Knowing my truth he understood I could soar.
His elusiveness made me wither and wallow.

Across the gray and stillborn face
Earthlight beams in shafts of blue
To follow sunlight into plains
And ancient valleys in hide and see
Played upon this place,
 A million years or more,
Then bends around horizon’s sloping line
To reach into the golden dawn
It ever seeks just beyond
The plane where light and dark
Never meet.

The hills and glens lie mute, still
As on the day they came to be,
Watching the ever shifting
Earthrise set against of sky of ebony
While not one particle
Moves from the place of its birth
In harmony with particles identical
In nature and in face and they,
Inertia’s handiwork, rest beneath the hands
Of light that run across this silent solitude
Without the help of winds
 That gird their neighbor’s waist.

The eons look like eternity - nothing changes
 In the rhythm of inertia’s
Ever watchful eye – no life force rising,
Stretching, reaching – the sea tranquility
Does not thunder with perpetuation's swell
And yet, it bears the eagle’s mark –
The first, now everlasting, footstep in a race
 So quickly come then gone
And mirrors to empty space the challenge
That gave them flaming wings carrying them
Far beyond their fruitful home to leave a plaque
In the empty dust of eon’s signature.

THE SUNFLOWERS- With the morning sun on the rise, they slowly lift their heads and their petals of yellowish-gold spread smiling with the sun.

THE HOUSE- As a passer-by, sitting atop a hill all trim and newly touched with a brush, it's white and blue shutters swing to the light breeze as quiet sets the mood.

THE LAMP- On low-glow, dimness surrounds the light beige drapes and the leaves from the long-stemmed plant sag downward as if fireworks were falling.

THE HIGHCHAIR- The tray all covered with remnants of chocolate pudding and cookie crumbs sits empty and all alone in the corner...mom holds baby boy on her shoulder where he rests his head and sleeps

THE DOG- Sitting on the edge of a bay window quietly looking at the rain dropping, she sits with her eyes drooped and her head resting on her front paws.

THE SUN- As it rounds the world, hues of light and dark blues set the tones of dusk and dawn...birds, bees and butterfly's paint the skies.

THE OCEAN- A shoreline of white caps ripple while calm waters beyond views sailboats, seagulls, and spotty white fluffy clouds in the horizon

THE MOON- Surrounded by pinholes, the huge white hole in the sky brightens the paths through the forests and alleys where lovers hold hands and stare at falling stars

THE MOUNTAINS- Above the lake, their shadows mirror. Colors of brown, orange, red and green is center staged around the log cabin off to the left, to the right...a man and his son fishing from the dock.

Strips of being here are drawn all over you, fine lines intertwining with your skin,
It is not within the whites of dainty skies to praise who you are,
I hope you don't hide the only thing that makes you, you,
That unique spark, that fire burning deep within your soul.
The black mark curving down to your collarbones remembers the anguish you scrubbed off,
It is not an abyss's purpose to make you love staying,
I hope you don't die as someone you don't know, don't lose yourself in the cloak of a foreign identity.
On an endless night, with stars like ink dots on an ancient parchment,
I think of you, of the fragile strips that contour your being,
Of every line that tells your battles and victories,
Of the shadows dancing on your skin, echoes of a tumultuous past.
When the wind wanders through the leaves of old trees,
I feel your presence like a sad melody, a symphony of a lost soul,
And I wonder if you'll ever find peace in those shadows,
If you'll learn to embrace those black marks not as a burden, but as badges of honor.
In the labyrinth of your mind, where every thought is a dark corner,
I carry the hope that you won't get lost in the unfathomable depths,
That you won't be seduced by the abyss's call, won't dissolve into its silence,
That you'll find yourself, in all your splendor, in all your vulnerability.
Your soul, a wandering ship on emerald seas,
Floating among waves of thoughts and emotions,
Seeking a lighthouse, a guiding light to bring you home,
To a port where you can reveal your true essence, without fear, without a mask.
And perhaps, one day, when the sky is white again,
You'll dare to show the world that spark, that fire burning within you,
You'll understand that you are not defined by the black marks, but by the way you carry them,
That you are an entire universe, full of stars and constellations, and that every strip of you is a chapter in a magical story.
Never hide, never lose yourself,
Live as who you are, love what you are,
In this world of shadows and lights, of dainty whites and dark abysses,
Always find your way back to yourself, never forget who you are.

"ENCOURAGE"
                                    YES, I CAN...

THE FEELINGS IN HEART, THE THOUGHTS IN MIND,
MAKE ME LOW AND DULL EVERY TIME.
FOR YEARS I HAVE BEEN TRYING,
I HAVE BEEN CONSOLING MYSELF
I HOPE FOR THE BEST...

EVERY TIME I TRY,I DO THE BEST I CAN,
I TAKE A CHANCE,I THINK I CAN WIN...
BUT,I MEET WITH FAILURE AT EVERY STEP,
I REALIZE, I HAVE TO STILL TRY AND DREAM
I HAVE TO HOPE...

THE HEART CRIES ON FAILING EVERY TIME,
THE MIND GETS BLOCKED WITH WEIRD THOUGHTS,
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT TO DO
I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO GO...

EVERYTHING SEEMS NULL AND DARK,
THERE SEEMS NO WAY TO MOVE ON
THERE'S NO PATH TO FOLLOW.

WITH A HEAVY HEART AND A NUMB MIND,
I LIVE,I SURVIVE
I KNOW THERE'S NO ONE FOR ME,
THERE'S NO ONE TO CHEER ME UP...

I KNOW, FOR ME,ONLY I AM THERE,
I KNOW ,NO ONE WILL UNDERSTAND, WHAT I GO THROUGH,
I DO NOT EXPRESS MY FEELINGS AND SORROWS,
I DO NOT SHOW MY THOUGHTS...

THERE IS NO ONE TO HELP ME,
I HAVE TO HELP MYSELF, ALONE
I NEED TO ENCOURAGE MYSELF
I DO THAT EVERY TIME...

I MAKE MYSELF FEEL BETTER,
I HELP MYSELF TO DREAM AGAIN,
I HELP MYSELF TO HOPE ONCE MORE,
UNTIL, AGAIN I LOSE AND FAIL...

LIFE IS A BATTLE,
NOTHING IS SIMPLE AND STRAIGHT,
LUCKY ARE THOSE WHO WIN,
UNFORTUNATE ARE THOSE,WHO STRUGGLE AND WAIT...

I AM THE ONE,WITH THE ILL FATE,
I HAVE ONLY TEARS, FOR ME
SORROWS ARE MY FRIENDS,
THAT'S THE GIFT OF LIFE...

BUT,I STILL ENCOURAGE MYSELF,
I STILL HOPE,I CAN ACHIEVE,
I CAN DO AND TRY...

WITH EVERY ODDS,I HAVE TO TRY,
I HAVE TO STAND,I HAVE TO HOPE,
ONCE AGAIN,I HAVE TO MOVE...

I NEED THE STRENGTH, I NEED THE COURAGE,
I KNOW,I AM THE ONE ,WHO HAS TO ENCOURAGE...
AFTER A SERIES OF FAILURES IN LIFE,
AGAIN I HAVE TO STAND AND SMILE
I HAVE TO ENCOURAGE...

I HAVE TO BE CONFIDENT
TO DO MY BEST, TO TRY MY LUCK,
I HAVE TO DREAM, I HAVE TO WORK
MYSELF,...I DO, ENCOURAGE...

ALL I NEED TO EXIST,
ALL I NEED TO BELIEVE,
ALL I NEED TO BE BETTER...
IS TO, ALWAYS ENCOURAGE...

I HAVE TO SMILE,I HAVE TO DREAM,
TILL THE SKY IS THERE,
TILL THE FLOWERS BLOOM,
TILL THE STARS SHINE,
TILL THE WATER FLOWS..

I HAVE TO TRY,I HAVE TO BE PATIENT,
I HAVE TO THINK, YES,I CAN...
I HAVE TO BELIEVE EVER AGAIN
AND ONCE AGAIN...,JUST ENCOURAGE...

Prayers plunge, faithful to believe, from souls
Hope longs to know His guiding light, His love
Kindness felt on those who God’s love controls

Shining gentle like stars and moon above
Brilliant breaths of a song dancing freely
Hope longs to know His guiding light, His love

Whispers of His light fall soft, ideally
Breaking through the hearts who are hard and dark
Brilliant breaths of a song dancing freely

Laughing through the worry and fear, a spark
Abiding inside the one who knows grace
Breaking through the hearts who are hard and dark

Yearnings flow from spirits who do embrace
His never ending joy, inspiring thanks
Abiding inside the one who knows grace

Effective prayer silences life's blanks
Prayers plunge, faithful to believe, from souls
His never ending joy, inspiring thanks
Kindness felt on those who God’s love controls

God’s grace is not a one-time event, but a continuous flow of blessings ~ author unknown

In the ache of summer’s rain,
	Pouring out its silent grace
Songs betrayed by the crazy days,
Moments parading, marching on, lost in passage
	Between light and dark
		Happy and sad,
			Wrong and right
				Good and bad…

In the doubting of a heart,
Where pieces of gentle prevent the fears
From leaving their mark, their scars, their tears…

In the music, rhythmic as life’s dreams,
Stirring the wonders, the feelings, the beliefs
Soaring on winds – like the crisp, falling leaves
Silence, breathless as the softest stories,
Verses, prayers, rising on the air, awakening
		Light beyond the words,
			Rhymes in wisdoms
				Beyond the soul’s feeling…

In the starlight colors, graceful and sure,
	Melodies of light, poetry concealing
		Wonders who confide the twilight
	Healing those who hurt, sensing
What it is to give back a smile,
Replacing the dark with starlight,
	Blue with breathtaking…

In His eyes, the colors of life, the song, where I belong
Inside, I know He is the why… I’m grateful for this grace that is mine!

Premium Member The Great Web:

Little bright coloured flowers flowing everywhere,
I don't know their names but their aroma fills the air.

Softly swaying as they bend in the summer's breeze,
How I love them so because I'm easy to please.

Life itself is often missed in a blink of the eye,
Not many take the time to even question why.

Life is never wasted but one may feel antique,
When the greatest gift is life itself that we must seek.

And for all that is alive shall also pass on by,
The journey of the two is like the light and dark sky.

As all things are connected in the invisible great web,
Life can be seen as the inward tide and death as the ebb.

I'm certain when this life ends another shall manifest,
Until that day comes give me strength and give me zest.

Disintegrating

What if I lose it all?
Forget who I am and
Die and cry and fall.
I'll be nothing but just sand,
Floating and fleeting in the air,
In the world Without a care.

Will it numb the pain,
Or it will all be in vain?

Or I'll be liberated from my agonies,
Like those dreamy house's balconies?
Will the tears end or the tears will end me,
Or they'll just turn into a vast never-ending sea?

Will it abate the thundering storms
That reside inside my mind,
All those loud and dark forms
That always keep me behind.

Save me if you can or I'll be
Nothing but a mere memory
Lost forever as a time so free,
Minor misty misery.

These screams are flowing as fizzy as waves in my veins,
Fostering the flowers of my excruciating pains,
Poisonous purple flowers are in sunlight and basking,
All the teal tears and tangerine turmoil they're masking.

LIKE A PEARL NECKLACE

Tall, dark and handsome,
First impressions are good.
A lovely accent accentuates his lips,
this man who loves my sister.

Two families joined as one,
As white and dark wrist circles
celebrate at their wedding

With aromatic arabic melodies
Fe Sehetak
A lovely cup of love

~

He was working at the Jerusalem Hotel.
She was on assignment in Israel.

~

A rolling car and shattered glass,
Almost snatched, the lives of father and son,
but for a miracle from God.

~

In my sister’s living room, cozy,
her husband’s Palestinian parents.

Emotive communications,
Joey’s grandma and I,
through God’s grace.

Our mutual love of her grandson, my nephew.
We point to the baby, and we blow kisses,
and point to the heavens.
A shared cup of joy and tears.

~

Like a pearl necklace we slide together,
the world grasped in the beauty of
shared smiles and gratitude.

And love.
