Grace Sighs
God’s grace is not a one-time event, but a continuous flow of blessings ~ author unknown
In the ache of summer’s rain,
Pouring out its silent grace
Songs betrayed by the crazy days,
Moments parading, marching on, lost in passage
Between light and dark
Happy and sad,
Wrong and right
Good and bad…
In the doubting of a heart,
Where pieces of gentle prevent the fears
From leaving their mark, their scars, their tears…
In the music, rhythmic as life’s dreams,
Stirring the wonders, the feelings, the beliefs
Soaring on winds – like the crisp, falling leaves
Silence, breathless as the softest stories,
Verses, prayers, rising on the air, awakening
Light beyond the words,
Rhymes in wisdoms
Beyond the soul’s feeling…
In the starlight colors, graceful and sure,
Melodies of light, poetry concealing
Wonders who confide the twilight
Healing those who hurt, sensing
What it is to give back a smile,
Replacing the dark with starlight,
Blue with breathtaking…
In His eyes, the colors of life, the song, where I belong
Inside, I know He is the why… I’m grateful for this grace that is mine!
