World We Live In

I sit in the classroom
Start of a brand new year
I am really nervous
New students, surround me
They come from diverse cultures & backgrounds
None that I am familiar with
It’s like God gathered the whole world 
And placed us together
In one, tiny classroom

I admire the beauty of their different coloured skins
It’s like gazing at a mesmerising masterpiece
Neither human

In You I See God's Beauty

His work in you life…  
Has been portrayed!

The kind of person Christ
 wants others to see!

In you…  I see an inner beauty God’s given…
It clearly shows, in the way you’re livin’!

Walking on air. 
 Thirsting for sorrowing despair 
is the only way I know how to keep you near. 
 My spirit lingers for a moment,
 searching the softly dead silence for the words to say...
 forever the words are left unspoken.

I’m so thankful for everything the Lord has made...
Everything he’s created…  His beauty is displayed!

I’m so thankful for the breath I have to breathe…
Until that one day, from this earth, I shall leave.

Her name is now a legend 
Before her name was feared
The lady Henrietta 
Lean close and lend an ear

They say her status started
One night long time ago
She found her husband cheating
With the girl she knew next door

An Ode To Birth and Death

Darkness ended, Winter released her icy grip; budding crystals soon began to drip.

The Earth then tendered, its surface filled with life; Spring now wed to Summer, the
radiant rays piercing the frozen skies.

But Beauty gives way to Destruction and forests turn to tinder.

beneath this iron maiden
lies three wooden crosses

such tragedy comes to those
with their life losses

even in the backseat a beauty queen

You told me of a red red rose
then you made those words so clear to me
