Home Again

A cacophony of sounds resonate in my ears Frogs and crickets sing in the night air The distant moo from the cows in the pasture A latent “who” from the owls in the barn The soft, white clouds spread above me The moon peeping through Seemingly moving with the essence of nature This life here engulfs me in its pure and rare beauty I am one with the country, home again
