Just One Thing to Leverage

She believed her Barbie's and Ken's
had shared a love far more complex
than any feelings they'd expressed --
AND dolls couldn't even self-dress!!!

She knew they were a mistake -
one she wanted them to address.
Her thoughts led to a request -
they both take a fear of change test.

As the seacoast swells, I'm the ticking clock,
Medusa’s buds melt wild in cosmic

Leverage

I am the wrench in the clockwork,
a tiny twist in the gears of a universe
too vast to notice my pinch,
yet enough to reroute the cascade—
leverage, a quiet conspiracy of small forces.

Like a catapult built from old regrets,
I launch myself over gravity’s grumble,
where time folds like origami cranes—
folds that hide the sharp edges of loss,
each crease

Leverage

I don’t raise my voice.
I raise stakes.
One quiet word
can tilt the floor beneath you.

It’s not about force--
it’s about weight.
Where you place it.
When you shift it.
Who you let believe
you’re not watching.

I learned early
the value of silence,
how it echoes louder
when someone leans in.

Let them underestimate.
Let them smile
like they’ve won something.
I’ll be the hand
on the fulcrum.

Gone on to glory
Left a story
Grandson, Rain only lasts a moment
Sunshine brings the joy of what is to come
You are never alone
As you learn, life will be known
There will be days of sadness and despair

Beverage For Leverage

The by-far dull child at orphanage,
After placement on beverage,
Mathematics above average:
A sixty-nine percent anchorage?

Other kids could only vilely rage;
The most envious began fast to age

The once-empty thing at orphanage
Could thrice try syllabus coverage,
Teachers wasting words; he could manage,
No need to be under tutelage...

Means beverage gives one leverage
Kids' craving for it to encourage
Teenagers: Beverage leverage,
To them

In life in turmoil,
               in the wavy life,

The hollow sounds of fog return this time of year.  
Loud echoes of potato chip crunching tires on frozen snow.

the winds at moonlight,
