Tucked in the high sierras, a vast wildlife
Waterfalls, meadows, and sequoias are the benchmark
I was in awe, as if an artist carved the top with his knife

Dripping gold crowning remnants of funeral ink,
Specks of silver drown in the river of cerulean blue,
Child of sky drapes morn over coffin of slumber hue.

Optimizing very well --- heaven on earth...
Vanquishing selfishness midst sharing delight
Ever-grateful to extend love in hope's light.

If a house is brimming with lovely delight,
where laughter lights the day, and love is light.
Grandkids gather, giftings glimmer of grace,
their winsome wonder warming all the space.
Good children, grown, still gentle in their ways,
bring balm to burdens, light to lingering days;
A family’s fervor—full, familiar, true—
turns simple hours into something new.
In this sweet symphony of kin and cheer,
life’s luster deepens, dazzling year by year.
All our lives we flounder about untangling intricate ties—
First, with our parents, our siblings, our spouses then
our kids, our in-laws, our relatives,
Later, we squander time away unraveling our differences
with our peers, our friends, our teachers, our bosses,
our colleagues and our associates,
At the end of our lives, we struggle
to come to terms with our beliefs, our faith,
our dreams and our aspirations, our gods and our demons,
It’s the good old death that finally cuts the Gordian knot!
