Memory-Trees

What's your memory of nature? Poetry Contest
Len Gasun

We took a trip up to the summit of Yosemite Park
Tucked in the high sierras, a vast wildlife
Waterfalls, meadows, and sequoias are the benchmark
I was in awe, as if an artist carved the top with his knife

What wonderful memories of Yosemite, Connie. We are blessed to be able to visit the park often and have wonderful memories like yours of waterfalls, meadows, fire falls, starry nights filled with comets and sequoias! Thank you for this lovely poem! Blessings.

Jan, thank you. That memory was around forty years ago. Four college kids stretched their wings and took in the views. It was fantastic and tranquil. There was a river that we swam in, and it was cold, so I wouldn't recommend taking a swim even though it was a hot summer day. During a winter trip, I remember the trees covered with snow and deer peeking behind the snowbanks. Have a great time visiting. Best wishes.
