Premium Member Alone Being Lonely

It seems to me
   when I’m out and about
   that crowds are getting smaller
when the chit-chats are heard less and less
and the kids run away with no spoon

It surprises me
   when grannies roll away
when neighbors are not in want of anything
when bullies decide to bully each other
when the postman never rings even once, ever

It startles me
when buses and trains don’t run during peak hours
   when twenty-three-hour restaurants are closed
when the local hospital is out of town
when I dial 911, I hear a recording, “The number you’ve dialed has never been in service!”

It stuns me
when my family doesn’t know me
when my spouse ain’t heard of me, giving me the ringless finger
when I knock on my neighbor’s door, they knock me out
when I go to the confessional, there’s a recording from a local law firm giving me legal advice

It shocks me
when my best friend became my worst enemy
when my worst enemy became friends with Hannibal Lecter
when I pray to heaven, the bible falls on the floor
and when I said, “What the hell was that!”, there was a knock at the door.

Pollinate

She’s so sweet,
I’m all I’m up in her nectar,
I eat up like Mr. Lecter.
Should I call or should I text her?

Next week she’s still running through my mind.
I guess possessed,
I wanna possess call her mine.
Chiropractor on speed dial I tend to break spines.
You have a spell over me love potion number nine.
Excuse me miss this ain’t my first time,
Fresh to death, birthed inside a hurst why?
Do I even bother confessing to these love crimes.

Premium Member Dedication To Hannibal Lecter

Society came at you in waves
Then locked you in a rusty cage
So don't be surprised if I hang a sign
that says don't come too close; I BITE

Hannibal Lecter

Hannibal Lecter
remains for so many a most ghoulish specter
eat out at your peril
already he's asked you confirm you are sterile.

28 Days After the Vows

Strolling up the chapel isle, each one looking like a jewel
Everyone saying of the bride, ‘Ooooh she looks so beautiful’
Stopping before the preacher, he leads them through the vows
Not noticing the bride having a funny twitch across her brow

At the moment of ‘I do’, hopping like a raving kangaroo
She sinks her teeth into his skull, crimson red begins to spew
Like a tasty watermelon, her face completely blood stained
She looks directly into the camera and roars the word, “Brains!!!”

The audience giggles in horror, the popcorn losing its fun
Even Hannibal Lecter chuckles, ‘they got me on that one’
Just another zombie movie you can see at any mall
You laugh it off, slow your heart, and try to remain calm

You think you want this person, to be husband and wife
But once you put that ring on, you may be stuck for life
So if s/he begins to watch you with a twinkle and a drool
You’ve got about twenty eight days to have it all annulled
