We should kiss or else I will light the whole world on fire
You said with a heart not only I could admire
Why should I limit myself to two options
When I could have both and rid this world of unholy concoctions
Why don’t we kill two birds with one stone
Use the fire to create a path to your throne
Look down upon the ashes of competition
The hierarchy you made, victim to abolition
what do you see in my eyes?
Do you see right through them, a heard of disdain
Or do I cover them well, reflection masking the pain
The day is better ending with you
You shown up late to our rendezvous
Should’ve known better to show up late
February 14th would be our final date
There was no masquerade to our choreography
you’ll be the first I reference in my bibliography
Dance around the fire exchanging visceral looks
Let my fingers trace your body and rediscover some nooks
You breached the walls of comfort,
almost an emboli
Never imagined I’d get this lowly
Head versus heart, what do we do
Fears and desires, within renew
Choose love my friend, to Gods will bend
Tattered ties, with forgiveness mend
Be to become, pure morning dew

To kill two birds with one stone
seems rather difficult, no?
Yet often I think it’s done
as it’s always being told!
Less harsh it would be to stun
each one, for I’d rather not
make those birds be dead and gone.
It seems a terrible sport!
Using a stone leaves a stain
and is not easy to do.
Instead of killed, why not caught?
CATCHING two birds I’d support!

She did not recall those nightly forages
Those midnight snacks had packed on the pounds
From her eating habits she couldn't disengage
She needs to solve the mystery of those midnight rounds
Her husband was suspicious too
And he wondered what he should do
For someone was putting miles on his car!
It was really quite bizarre
So he installed cameras, both inside and out
To see what this mystery was all about
They reviewed the tapes after a couple days
They were both shocked and dismayed
There was his wife having a midnight snack
Sleepwalking to the kitchen and back!
The couple knew this was no dream
For there he was, driving down the road with high beams!
This sleepwalking couple knew just what to do
They'd kill two birds with one stone and go to the drive-thru!

Not yet a pundit
But I'll reach the top of many summits
Before I kick the bucket
Going after anything I covet
They sometimes say easy does it
Not going to stress myself out about any what if's
I'm not one to pass judgment
And I won't always come out triumphant
No intention to postpone
I came to kill two birds with one stone
On my own
Near and far away from home
And anywhere else I roam
Or comb
Regardless of if the location is well-known
Still many different talents and skills to hone
If you don't believe me, you will if you look into my eye's and hear my tone
Involving similar and different habits
There usually was a method to my madness
Whether or not through the use of an atlas
And apparatus
In the daylight or pitch blackness
Do you hate or love to cook?
Do you realize how much it really took
By oneself or with help and input
Not going to find it in many if any books
Something I will never forsook or overlook
Innocent people wrongfully convicted and some crooks easily let off the hook
With the romans usually
travel galloping to their destination,
they one day thought of
a better way to travel invention,
instead of the old way
which was usually by horse,
they decided it would be wiser
and quicker to take the aqueduct course,
that way the travelers would
kill two birds with one stone,
they'd not only enjoy the scenery,
but could bathe on their way down,
sitting on their butts,
with a bar of soap,
they'd quickly lather up,
while hitting a small bump,
but they didn't mind,
they thought that part was fun,
hence came the idea,
of the first water park slide!
kill two birds with one stone
why kill two birds with one stone
when one can kill them
more efficiently with a drone
or more appropriately
