Organic

If love were 'dark matter'
it would be the size
of a small kidney stone.

Hate is
an intestinal tapeworm
that gnaws at our vitals,
though most folks
remain unsure just what 'vitals' are.

The human brain
does not write poetry,
it merely crouches inside one ear,
while shouting into the other.

Poetry abides at the center
of an ever-expanding constellation
deep within the pineal gland -

that physical presence
manipulates, as many as
ten fingertips or toes
plus, a sloshed Calliope
swinging back and forth,
as she clings precariously
to chandelier-like Adam's apple.

Lips learn to think for themselves,
with the help of undocumented
angels.

Thus, naturally
organically produced poetry
can easily be manifest
while a nose dips deep
into a foaming glass of beer.

Premium Member40000 cartloads of horse manure

i printed off
all of my poems

i distributed them
at the traffic lights

no one opened their car windows
except one poem i stuffed in a dog's face

a child laughed at me from his back seat
i laughed back

i stuffed the poems in drains
in supermarket trollies

i donated them at the
charity shop

i hammered this poem
into a lamppost

it blew away into the ether
i went home to pass a kidney stone

all the eggs in this box are double yoked
signifying nothing

Trauma Clean

Bake the world a cake and wear your shimmering crown of perfection.
Gorge on pure bites of unearned kindness to feed your grievous bodily farm.
Your dignity is a sight unseen.

Like a spider in mucous your predicament is set, your progress smothered.
We all know your street of benevolence ends in a potholed cul-de-sac.
Vanish down your own sinkhole.

Tears on a fat cheek bleed a needy trail that screams for holy reverence.
A path carved in righteous marble yields nothing but jeers from the gallery.
Consider yourself considered.

Interactions that pass like a kidney stone from bloody stream to toilet bowl.
All is mimicry, all is disgust, and the smile is ill, the smile is façade.
Your smile needs a trauma clean.

Premium MemberHow To Avoid Kidney Stones

Lighter yellow pee = is good 4 the kidney :-)

So drink plenty of water, especially if it's hotter!

Cuz kidney stone pain's not what I consider gain!

Eat low-oxalate / sodium, & more fresh foods -- yum!

Mud Puddle

Has life handed you a kidney stone, Old Timer?
Does the world treat you like a dead gnat in it's oatmeal?
Some days, do you feel like a mud puddle in an ocean?
Do you sense that you are as insignificant
as a bee fart in a bouquet of roses?
Well listen up Bunkie,
and remember,
the only person
you are obligated to convince
of your greatness
is you...

There was a young bloke from Sydney
Found a large stone in his kidney
Went into a Doc
Who took out the rock
Surely felt better then did-n-ee

Kidney Stone Blues Contra Poem

they shake, rattle and roll,
calcium balls not for my soul,
every time they move,
it's not my groove,
I warn them to stop
and quit doing the hop,
the doc threatens to laser,
a form of using a teaser

I've got the kidney stone blues

in the middle of the night,
they wake me up with a fright
as they roar and rumble
within my kidney while they stumble,
shuckin and jiving to a beat,
twisting and turning with defeat,
the ache lasts and ain't no fun,
grabbing a pain pill on the run

I've got the kidney stone blues

THE MOTHER OF ALL LOVE POEMS
How much love, comes from the heart of me?
Let's count the ways, far as my heart can see,
no more than's in my gizzard or my liver,
I'll ever find any love to give her,

as much as in my bladder, if it's grown
or sharing space with a kidney stone,
my heart hath love, as much as my tongue,
and in between my hips it's hung,

in hair that grows out of my nose,
and in my spleen--between my toes,

the heart pumps blood, and nothing more,
the bladder pees toward the floor,

but never will you ever find
one bit of love, cept in the mind.

The bastards who dole out abuse
Like seeing my neck in a noose
But they've only sewn
A razor-edged kidney stone
Which for them has pain to induce

Author's note: Abuse can be enforced poverty and economic unfairness, forced relocation, racism and discrimination, religious intolerance, rape, forced labor, abduction, a lack of peace (of mind) and numerous other things. Life shouldn't seem like it's happening in a concentration camp. People need to have dreams and hope and know that they can have a job and that work will pay off. Are these the root cause issues of unrest we should address, or do we just build a bigger set of fences everywhere and see what happens?

Golden Conversation

Golden Conversation

Jack:

Let this kidney stone
Be instantly gone
Pain from the back
You can’t well track.

Joseph:

Yeah. I feel two addled ostrich eggs
Lumped on both sides of my back
Slowly I bend, slowly drag my legs
Not to pollute other organs if they crack!

Jack:

Rising from this seat
Is quite a feat
When from here I stand
I need runway to land
For, like a plane
That toes the lane
Slowly I rise and move
Before I finally take off!

Joseph:

I rise and quickly land,
If none takes my hand
I hardly walk or stand
I simply crash land!

***As two old lovely gents conversed at an Old People’s Home.
***Fictitious scenario. Don’t try it at home!

Private Hell

How can something so small
Cause so much pain?
With awesome power
And nothing to gain

You think you are dying
You hope that you are
Your threshold of pain
Has been tested so far

Those who have been there
Will recognize it's sign
You're ever so lost
In this moment of time

Trapped in this agony
You're feeling inside
You lose all control
Like Jekyll and Hyde

A whole new dimension
Where many have been
No words to describe
The pain that you're in

Some people have them
Just once in their life
While others are cursed
With this torment and strife

Nothing can help you
You're all alone
Your own private hell
The kidney stone

Kidney Stone

I’ve got a kidney stone
Trying not to moan
It hurts me deep
Trying not to weep
Sweep away the pain
Down the bathtub drain
