How can I flood your waters
when your barriers hold me back?
How can I fill your mind
when it's preoccupied and blind?
How can I fulfill your needs
when there is no way of pleasing these?
How must I cross your mountains
when your forest is so thick inside?
How can I fly through your skies
when you cloud the vision of my eyes?
How can I swim through your oceans
when your undertow keeps pulling me down?
How can I walk through your deserts
when your sandstorms keep blinding me so?
How can I kiss you gently
when you disguise the love I know?

There is a place I know quite far from here,
Across the oceans and so far away
Where there lives a poet who is a dear,
When here tis night and over there tis day.
So let me conjure a fantasy
In which dogwood trees are blooming pure white
And only you and I can clearly see
Birds of red and blue above us in flight.
The air is scented with a sweet perfume
In this enchanted fairyland of dreams
Of happy days and nights that end too soon
As we share our spirits, hearts, and sweet schemes.
If only we were able to be free
To let it be, let it be, let it be.

Waterfalls In Rainbows Where We Shall Play:
If we could run away, where would we go,
We could seek out every corner, high and low,
In sweet embrace, we should forever stay,
Waterfalls in rainbows where we shall play.
Upon midnight hour when lovers do caress,
All fears fading, shall be nothing to confess,
We'll hold each other tight never letting go,
I'll sing you love songs just so you may know.
Within midnight romance and moon so bright,
We shall forever know our love is right,
Upon morn's waking hours our hearts shall beat,
Tasting love's dessert, be it ever so sweet.
Treasures of passion blessing our new home
We living in paradise, no need to roam
So with love's purest truth let us now dwell
Sweet memories our children may later tell.

He has a sense of humour,
That’s second to none,
Anything for a laugh,
He’s so much fun.
He proof reads our poetry,
He sometimes gets it incorrect,
When he advises us,
He does it with respect.
He’s kind and caring,
He truly is quite sweet,
Getting to know him,
Is the sweetest treat.
He knows the difference,
Between “You’re and Your”,
However, I get the feeling,
He’s got it wrong before.
He may on occasion,
Allow his pen to run dry,
That’s enough,
To make a poet cry.
There’s one last thing to say,
Before I finish,
I hope his wit and humour,
Never do diminish.
