An Ode To Rick Keeble

He has a sense of humour,
That’s second to none,
Anything for a laugh,
He’s so much fun.
He proof reads our poetry,
He sometimes gets it incorrect,
When he advises us,
He does it with respect.
He’s kind and caring,
He truly is quite sweet,
Getting to know him,
Is the sweetest treat.
He knows the difference,
Between “You’re and Your”,
However, I get the feeling,
He’s got it wrong before.
He may on occasion,
Allow his pen to run dry,
That’s enough,
To make a poet cry.
There’s one last thing to say,
Before I finish,
I hope his wit and humour,
Never do diminish.

I kept this lovely poem in my favourites now, so whenever I need a boost or a smile I can read it and think to myself, yes, there is proof of good people in this messed up world. Keep you eye open for Chris Green, he is another awesome and new poet too. You'll love his work.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this little ode :) and that "you're" keeping it as a favourite for future reference. There are good people in this crazy, mixed up world. "You're" one of them :)

Now I'm blushing Kay! I go upstairs for dinner and then find my dessert in this lovely poem! I can't believe YOU'RE sweetness! Haha.

I'm finding it difficult to believe YOU'RE blushing... Now I know YOUR "you're" was meant as joke. However, it could actually read correctly. Because, of course I am sweetness and in personification :) so why wouldn't you believe that I am? Hahaahha
