A beautiful colorful day,
every flower greeting hellos.
I'm joyfully kissing love,
many nights.
Only polite quiet recipients,
sound true universal valentines.
Wanting xylophone youthful zeal.
joyfully pursuing nothing today
no plan
no schedule
no worries
no cares
my car sits forlornly
she misses me
I do not care
this retirement gig is delightful
I can sit in one spot for days
and I do
until Dr. G begins talking about blood clots
that go to your heart and kill you
when you sit for too many hours
I walk up the hill one time
hoping that is enough
because I want to sit in a recliner
and watch TV, paint or write poems
joyfully pursuing nothing today
tranquil unmoving water,
felt it would be cold this early in the morning
my little boat was waiting,
to take me on today’s adventure
My heart was light, I felt joyfully excitedly refreshed
In the afternoons
You took long walks by the sea
Or the ocean
With a stick in your hand
You stopped
Drew a heart in sand
And wrote ’I love you’
In the middle.
Joyfully you exclaimed
This is my favourite place
I’ll come here every day
birds are hugged by clouds
the sunbeam kisses
a lark

What can we buy that will cure what ails him?
We wished that we knew.
Trying treatment upon treatment.
Lotions, creams, pills, and ointments.
No relief was promised, but we were optimistic.
We expected some good results.
Our hopes were joyfully trotted out next to each treatment.
Twenty, thirty, forty times, our hopes were lifted up.
Finally dying a natural death, landing on the rocks of reality.
This is why they call it practicing medicine.

The brightest of all stars
has appeared in the winter
clear but frozen sky to amaze us!
O silent bells ring joyfully
and announce to all men
the wonderful birth
of a divine infant with tender
eyes; look at him: he's so human
and He's the heavenly
King the angels declare,
making Herod tremble as
he hears their glorious songs of mirth!
O silent bells ring joyfully,
in the blue Heavens
the biggest star is gliding;
this night is too quite chilly
while the shepherds
watch their sheep on the hills
of Bethlehem and they notice that the stars
have little brightness,
but this star has is very bright and clear!
And they wonder, " Why does such
a night of splendor draw Heaven so near? "
The Angel of the lord will
surprise them and tell
them that the awaited King has finally come:
a big star will lead them
to a manger in Bethlehem,
then the dark road the brighter will become!
O silent bells ring joyfully
and echo in every distant valley
to cheer up the hopeless world
that has a new sight to behold!
Truly God is the only one who is able
being the all-powerful non created being
who rules and reigns from all eternity
so making sure we don’t go a falling
This one all divine and godly
who’s able to perfectly present
you of all people faultless
made a new creation old truly rent
The presence of the divine glory
this you’re able to presently appear
filled with the joy of the Lord
fully satisfied displaying godly fear
So the only God truly wise
who saved us securely sure
His be all glory and majesty
reign powerfully to endure
This declaration is all eternal
nothing will ever make it cease
God is our God authoritatively true
His kingdom forever to increase
