Sparrows: Joy of Life

When sparrows chirp, they sing for peace.
They fly and paint a masterpiece.
What lovely sounds, what a lovely scene!
No words can say what these could mean.
The rhymes they sing they touch the heart.
The sounds they make perform an art.
Who can’t enjoy? Who can’t ignore?
These tiny birds with a lofty soar.
They like our homes but love the sky
With wings and songs so loud and high.
I can’t see life with no such birds.
They give us joy beyond all words.

Premium Member Artists unite

You're the artist with the pen,
the painter with the brush,
the designer with the colour swatches.

You interpret your dreams,
give rise to your ambition,
create your ideal future.

Your vision crystallizes at will,
draws upon your imagination
to materialize your surroundings.

There may be times of ugliness
when the world seems dark and
intent on dragging you down.

Remember this too shall pass,
renew your closeness with nature
and replenish that innate beauty and joy.

I sit enthralled,
       on mesh bench,
        honeycomb pattern,
     close of afternoon,
    jaw-dropping stretch ,
cars drift by,
     cordial wave,
      from otherworldly,
   enigmatic stranger,
whose astral path,
    I may have crossed,
      in urban flyby,
   face to face,
      amidst sojourn littered,
  with ethereal clouds,
glowing chatters,
   sunny disposition,
from affable dwellers,
 gladsome day experience,
 now whither that,
mystery figure

Chi Chi Rodriguez made golf fun to watch
    He’d sink a crucial putt
Then throw his hat down over the hole
and do a spirited dance around it

A smile overspread his face
a silent tune flowed through his veins
His dance inspired fans to cast off their inhibitions
and join him in joy unrivaled

Taking a sport of fiercely guarded emotions
     blowing it wide-open
laughing in the tense face of tradition

we’re fooled not by caress of bliss sedate ~
it’s power is potent when in full spate

Premium Member Thought of the day

abiding in silence without effort
wherein movement of our thoughts is rested
is the magic causing bliss beats to spurt
by power within us by God vested

Premium Member say it like it is

reflections reveal radiance
emanating from deep within
enlivening bliss magnetism
around which polarities spin

tranquil stillness animated
totality capsuled in form
as transmitter and receptor
bilocates in this benign storm

divine bliss beats send a signal
that our essence is living light
whispered wisdom wisening us
drenching us in drunken delight

Premium Member Smile Than Cry

Humble sunflower
Humble smile
Smile with grace
Smile with pride
Pride is the devil
Pride is power
Power in showing up
Power in not giving up
Up with the dead
Up with the living
Living with revelation
Living with werewolves
Werewolves are sheep
Werewolves are real
Real silver
Real stars
Stars give guidance
Stars give light
Light up the world
Light shines on money
Money for me
Money for you
You have choices
You can love
Love to fight
Love to fly
Fly through time
Fly without wings
Wings translucent
Wings never sleep
Sleep talk
Sleep walk
Walk on fire
Walk on the moon
Moon landing
Moon crash
Crash against the stars
Crash on man
Man made
Man king
King shame
King David
David defeats Goliath
David the artist
Artist struggles
Artist cry
Cry for joy
Cry for pain
Pain
Joy

A stamp retreating to a corner
Travels round the world
Without boundary
No political
Colourless
Timeless
With wavy emotion of the lovers
With startling surprise of the children
With overwhelmed joy of the parents
And now with the humbleness of me
Who is one of his owner

Not The End

To show His love,
Our God did send,
His one and only Son,
To save from sin,
We mortals hear, that,
"This is not the end."

Yes, We offend,
Our God above,
Yes, we were born in sin.
Please, God forgive,
We’ll make amends, since,
"This is not the end."

We travel through,
This life we wend,
With Son of Man as Friend.
We have no fear,
Since He is near, knowing,
“This is not the end.”

And we have learned,
Faith, Hope and Love,
Of all our fellow men,
Must be secured,
On these Life depends, for,
“This is not the end.”

This life on earth,
With such few years,
Know death it will attend.
Yet we have Faith,
And Hope is dear, that,
"This is not the end."

And when the veil,
On life descends,
And closes out our case,
We'll know for sure,
That Truth endured, and,
"It was not the end."

let our meditation be celebration ~
in the enigmatic void of cessation

Robbie

Robbie came home in the evening it was 6 p.m.

He'd come from a hard day of work again

He had himself a plate of steak and eggs

and a cold sweet tea,

Sat down to hang out with his family

No matter what stresses his days would bring

Coming home to them was always

the perfect thing

Premium Member Forever Blessed

His light, falls gently
Erasing the melancholy
The summer’s grief
Restless praises, stirred
By the music of a grace
Beyond the heavens,
Where love can amaze….

Sweet notes of praise,
On lips of leaf and life
When starlight trembles
Keeping away this strife…

Autumn’s brisk light
Falls across the night
Where melancholy
Whispers to a moon so bright,
Streams of tear like dewdrops
Rest on the soul who knows
Whatever comes in this life
God above will exalt…
Every heart who remembers
He is One who knows me best
And, with Him, life is forever blessed!
