I wandered lonely as a cloud
Cranberries are kinda cool
When I thought I heard a meow
from fred who was a bit of a tool
he was eating fruit right now
and though the Jonas brothers were cool
You know my words are different, especially when they touch your heart.
I tried to rule the world, I couldn't get passed the smell of your beautiful, green, Vine-like hair.
I'm ready for your kiss of death, actually I've been ready for a while now- just like a faithful husband should be!
Or have we downgraded to just me and you?!
You left me standing there- outside in the rain.
You threw my love in the trash , but how about we give it a try one more time?

No doubt there will be others
Drawn to adventurous things
In books, dreams or when awake
Taking risks by exploring
Nature and camping by a lake
With animals she shares words
They actually talk back to her
Dogs, cats, horses even birds
A Dr. Doolittle she is for sure
Teachers adore her deep intellect
Friends appreciate her big heart
It is apparent to all she is in effect
Unique, special, loving and smart
A writer, yarn knitter and reader
So many gifts and hidden talents
A listener and a natural healer
She on this earth is very balanced

I hang my head in shame never to look up again!
Is it true that you're dating a guy that bears my name?
I must confess this is a shock!
Nah I'm lying, I saw this coming from the very beginning.
We were never meant to be!
It could never be me and you, only me and time!
Every nanosecond counted but I just couldn't score.
One-on-one we fight for distance. You for far away and I for closer.
So here we GO!!! This is the final STRETCH!!!
One more chapter and then I'm done-
with loving you!
But I can't deny I still see you!!!
In my dreams and in my visions. You're the only one that keeps me standing-HERE!!!
No matter what mood
No matter what place
My mind does get cooled
And it brings a smile to my face
It's my passion, it's my love
It could even be a dove
It could be a pigeon (for all you know)
Or it could just say, "So you reap, as you sow."
