Premium MemberColor Among Black And White

You're the star in the gallery
of black and white masterpieces,
only flash of light iconic in my temple,
distinguished radiant freckles.

Its been so long since....

A black swan engulfs a white-ness
hidden behind blood-shot darkest hues,
colour only drains so I flood the gates
in an attempt to make the morning shine

Whispers become intolerant of mad stricken
forgotten sea-shells left in a ruck sack,
carried out by the tide to a breach of sea,
like finding numbing needles in a hay stack.

Giggles haunt, not fondly but now violate,
tin soldiers scattered over a wedding cake
and gone the warmth of hallucinations.
Icy cold popsicles flare in your wake...

Premium Memberwishing my neighbors would move away

I keep my alicorn hidden from prying eyes
she only leaves the yard when there are darkened skies
my neighbors to the east are prejudiced against magical beings
intolerant of differences, five unlikable human beings

I think my neighbors to the west can handle mystical creatures.
They have lovely parties with outside movies, double features.
if the neighbors to the east move away, my alicorn will be free to frolic at will
every day I pray they will leave, but I’m afraid they are there still.

To Insanity and Back Again

Insanity and back again
Somethings got to give
Whatever you do
Please don't shout my name
It calls up the demon
In me
We partied when we were young
Had to stop the world from turning
We ran as fast as we could and then faster
You lived for the minute and never thought it all would be gone
Crushing killing
Creative aptitude
Not even thinking of the beginning
Screw your last chance to have an answer
To find undercover
Screw your last chance
To be nice
Chance to say sorry
A word
A sympathetic gesture
Shame in my pockets
Empty or full
Resist the need to have fun
A pick of a constant tease
Tragically love intolerant
Honest to all
but myself
Give me the infinite scream
Sometimes a monster in my dreams
We can see the future
But choose
Fade into black

Allergic Reaction

When first invited
to The Land of Milk and Honey
where stars at night shone bright
and days there were always sunny
he demurred to go
Abraham was of a mind to politely decline
as wouldn't you know
he was lactose intolerant
and diabetic too so
the alleged Promised Land
would only guarantee
even more misery
but when he repented and relented
as his story unravels
more than 2,200 miles
by ox-cart he then travels
and tho' it's unsure if he found a cure
or the fire of his desire
to fulfill the dream which kept him alive
lo he lived to be an old soul of
one hundred and seventy five

Premium MemberTHREE SIDES OF image in a mirror

Mirror on the wall,
what do you reflect,
A simple image, trying to look pretty,
Or a self-righteous image,
or a deception of the soul.

In the simple image,
Beauty adores itself in front of a mirror,
Ugliness feels self-content,
The transient reality seems to come alive,
Dreams can't even find their shadows.

In The self-righteous image,
Ego and superiority lurk everywhere,
Intolerant to the opinions and behavior of others,
Thinks simple images are transient misconceptions.

In between simple and selfish images,
The soul finds a deception of heart and mind,
Self-righteous image is like a fading star in the daytime,
The soul sees the image as in a parallel mirror,
Where one becomes infinity.

Could Not Break My Spirit
Running alone in a crowded world, I lived my life in solitude. Some dreams came true in unexpected ways. Often, I thought I’d found my true calling, yet reality unfolded differently. I existed in the sheltered confines of my truth—the road, the pain, the silent games of survival in a sometimes-hateful America. Disappointment etched on faces, three years to secure a decent job, odds and ends to make ends meet.
I recall an agency assignment: a two-year-old toddler without ears. Her white parents handed a challenge and failed to change their ways. When lunchtime arrived, they said, “Step outside to eat; we’re Jewish.” I listened, smiled, and walked away, never to return.
Racism, pain, and low expectations—I vowed that no white person would feel what I felt that day. I quit the agency, guided by my grandfather’s wisdom. Sanity demanded distance from those who’d deny my humanity.
And so, I moved forward, my black hands never again touching that white baby. For I had lived
alone, seen it, and flushed it from my mind. In this world of bigots, I stood firm, resilient, and unyielding. A bigot, intolerant of differing beliefs, could not break my spirit.

"Friends Attend Contend #2"

The first book of The Old Testament called; Genesis is the story of the origins, of both planetary nature and human nature and serves with distinction.
 ... or schemer effects

21st century, this is,
That's him over there,
Who's him, whose that,
the next Moses himself
That's Moses, that's also his name,
no it's Henry Magillacutty
WHAT, wait a minute, wait a minute,
Oh gawdawful this is.,
He'll take us to the promised land
of milk and honey
I'm lactose intolerant and a diabetic,
we'll have a better life there,
I got a swimming pool at me house.

The Man I Loved

How absurd
The Man I love
Too absurd
The Man I love
He's a bird
The Man I love
A Raven flying after dark
Flying in my body through the park
The Man I love
A schizophrenic
The Man I love
An Inventor too
The Man I love
He says he's Krishna
But his skins not blue
The Man I love
It's too absurd
The Man I love
He's a bird
The Man I love
A Raven flying after dark
Flying in my body through the park
The Man I love
He's a Jew
The Man I love
Intolerant too
The Man I love
Mean as snake bit
The Man I love
Almost never right
The Man I love
A deadly cure
The Man I love
Him no person can endure
The Man I love
He's too mean to take outside
The Man I love
Only at night can he go for a ride
The Man I love

Premium MemberNeat Freak

a neat freak is compulsive
excessive and obsessed
their day revolves around cleaning

a neat freak has a one-track mind
and will not budge their focus
their one true friend is bleach

a neat freak disinfects all day
intolerant to imperfection
time and effort never a problem

a neat freak will not rest
till every thing's in order
and every surface shines

let's not mince words
a neat freak is maniacal
and a neat freak i am not

Born to die

Headlong you rush towards your
perceived, intended destination.
Eager to reach the journey's end.

Forgetful of an indifferent grave that
awaits with a cold embrace of dirt
offering scant, uneasy comfort.

Speeding, racing, hurtling through
the hours, days, months, years –
inexorably pursued by relentless time.

Oh, intolerant, weak creature!
How you are haunted by this
undeniability:

Dying
You are, from the moment of your
birth.

Premium MemberWhat is our love index

Intolerant toward a flaw,
more oft than not, we quote the law
and so burn the witch at the stake,
whilst love weeps for love, for love’s sake,
that if we peep into our past,
at our conduct, we’ll be aghast
but when it comes to our own soul,
we call to God to make us whole,
with a gentle slap on our wrist,
letting us enjoy our life tryst
but right is right and wrong is wrong;
conceded yet take all along,
that at end of days, we may smile,
since love never goes out of style.

Premium MemberAn Unwritten Life

The tragedy of an unwritten life

That no quill of scribe can unveil

Though seed was sown stands yet unknown

With no legacy to foretell

Plagued by a comedy of errors

A heart and soul that seeks mending

No dramatic page on this cosmic stage

In a play that's never ending

Surrounded by an intolerant cast

Sounds of silence echoes through the hall

Still they deeply bow with sorrowed brow

But not one shout for a curtain call

Premium MemberOnce In a While

Greed feeds the cliché: nice guys finish last,
there is little appetite for the truth.

And do-gooders are constantly harassed,
a lesson taught to intolerant youth.

Facing a future anchored in the past,
folks are cruel, arrogant, and uncouth.

Yet, their conscience, every once in a while,
assigns a moral value to a smile.

Ahhh, If God Were Here Right Now

if God were here right now,
i would offer him a slice of three layer lasagna
i wonder if He would ask for welches grape or purple wine
it would be a First Sunday
it would be the best venting dinner ever
i wonder if God would like garlic bread or texas toast
perhaps i should make a taco salad or one of them cobb salads
for dessert, i wonder if God is lactose intolerant
hmm, i think i will make Him some sugar cookies
i guess that would be safe
nevertheless, at least i know that God will be Good, Nonjudgmental Company
Going With The Flow With God Ain't Soundin' Bad At All Right Now
OOOPS!!!! EGAD!!!!! (CENSORED [forgive me, Father God])!!!!! there goes the dad blasted alarm
the nights go by so fast when you have to work the next day
