Easy ways of solving things we always like;
Difficulties from distance we want to strike.
How will all the secrets of the world be known,
If we move not an inch from our comfort zone?
Until some initiative from us is not shown,
Into a well of ignorance, we will be thrown.

Faith and Initiative

His success in life
stems from hard work, humbleness,
and prayerfulness.

Birds Were Flown Fish Were Floated

when respect is the left acceptance is the right wing
a bird s eye view shouldn t be a world as slashed with slashes
the way it was sliced years ago
shouldn t be the reason for our loathing

when you look beyond the stained glass only the flesh remains
the flesh that is cooked different but tastes the same
they forgot that there are recipes out there
as good as theirs

they used symbols and labels to divide we shouldn t have followed the flow
we must hold hands if we want to grow

they say dogs are people s best friends perhaps because they don t see color
when did we forget that we are all in this together?

birds are flown
fish are floated
by a greater will power
so let s use ours to adjust
those who want to transform the slashes
into full stops by ending us

Incentive and Initiative

Incentive and Initiative

Cat was both purring and up had been curled
While watching our flag which was now unfurled
Blowing in breeze and by nothing being bothered
Like great, friendly new idea in being fathered.

God, new poem to me again, He has granted
Which into my mind was so safely planted
With meaningful purpose which was to give
You effort to write poems with added incentive.

Instead of just sitting there while you will stare
Write many poems like mine all beyond compare
And in everyone's soil which is always native
Will grow more poems when you take the initiative.

How do I tell you that you’re beautiful?

How can I be different?

How can I express my attraction?

When columns upon
Columns
Of testosterone filled wolves
Dressed in rented Italian suits
And discolored, mesh sneakers
Speak similar flirtatious dialect

Will this baby scented Sunflower do the trick?

I picked it from my walled Garden of Eden.

I spent 4 years mending these butterfly coated petals,
Solely for this moment

How can I express my need for your smile?

When tattered paper donations have been sent
To elicit short-term, newlywed goose bumps upon your flesh

...

May I have this dance?

You’ve never heard this sensual ballad.

But, it’s an element of my Spoken Word
Waiting for your translation

I await your palms,
Because this is not a Man’s world

This can be ours.

But, will you leap off from trampoline’s corazon?

My syllables are in your hands.

My book is within your misunderstood palm paths.

But,
If you’re going to read between my lines,
Do not be illiterate to my heartbeats.

Your move…

An Initiative Lurk

When you fail to entertain ask someone for voluntary work.
to learn about boring, to apply a healthy jerk,
Don't hurt anybody, build climax, wisely and warmly,
Patience can promote you when you have an initiative lurk,
Believe me, you shall seek an appointment for ceremonial Kirk.

Initiative

Breach the limitations set by example.
Set your mind free to roam the unknown.
Learn that fear is a physical trait,
which sits beneath a similar boundary.

But we have the keys to our chains.
And we alone choose to fly or be grounded.
We can leave without a single thread of emotion
and let it hinder our progress no longer.

The possibilities are endless when void of restraints.
We can lead our minds on to the highest of peaks
or delve ourselves lower through perpetual sea,
a world forever untouched by abusive hands.

Begin the release of the bounding fists
with a simple nudge toward unseen future.
Command your freedom with utmost pride.
And dissolve into a cloudless inner sky.
