Premium MemberThe Finger

I’m told the pen’s mighty and outwits the sword
but my finger is stronger and won’t be ignored.
It pokes and it swipes and it rants in a roast
then it quickly DELETEs to disguise my last post.

Though swords, they can cut, and pens, they can shame
the press of a button initiates flame.
All humor aside, I’ll admit it’s a crime
when I set fire to gasoline, dressed up in rhyme.

So, I’ll UPLOAD with caution and hold taut my lip
and think before shooting my words from the hip…
and I’ll walk-off responses so quick to offend,
keeping fingers off buttons like RE-ply and SEND.

Premium MemberTraction Stornello

Now I have been forced into this position,
I hate having to change my plan of action.
Left to start this ball rolling to gain traction.

This demeanor so commonly full of poise,
I detest the use of superfluous noise.
The rest of my arsenal surely deploys.

My reflection slowly begins splintering
as indignant skin succumbs to blistering.
What I’m repeating is not registering.

Yanking at my emotions only to see
when to pull hard or proceed delicately.
I’m starting to feel you are here to test me.

Your image once clicked initiates rage bait
to rush out of control I can’t moderate.
I wish I had walked away, now it’s too late.

Premium MemberReal Culture

They, the idols who have the right given by you to dispose of your own soul, offer to admire their wise reflections, but do not offer to share their wisdom with them. They don't want you to be on the same level of insight. This is the real culture, derived from the word "cult" - you are allowed to admire, but you cannot touch it, or even come too close. It's a temple value, and it's not for everyone. Only for initiates who know the unwritten rules and rituals. Protected by the state, this plug is invisibly nailed to every object of worship, be it music or painting. But the state is not the best custodian, so only the maniac collectors can provide genuine guarantees of safety that last as long as they are alive. When there are no passionate lovers, both passion and its once adored objects disappear.

Premium MemberApril Brings Thrill

I'm proud to be born in April
    feeling thrill
to share my birth date twenty third April
    with Majestic persona William Shakespeare.
Also, Bengali Film Director Satyajit Ray
winning International fame in Film Industry
holds same birth date as mine.

Bengali New Year starts in April.
    In childhood days,
Dad always bought me two new dresses in April
to wear one on Bengali New Year Day
and next on my Birth Day.
April is an Auspicious Month in my life.

     Month April initiates
    most exciting wonderful storm named
" Kal Baisakhi" after the name of
       first month 'Baisakh'
      of Bengali New Year.

The charming storm is enjoyable to
     watch Nature's glamour with
joyful dance of leaves and branches
chased by strong storm along with
first cluster of grey and black clouds
     assembled with loud thunderbolt.

First shower of Summer is poured
     some times with hails.
It is a fun for children to run in rains
collecting little pieces of hail stones.
Still feeling nostalgic remembering childhood days.

Premium MemberMy Sweet September

Oh, my sweet September, I have loved you all my days.
Please allow me to count just a few of the ways.

Each time you arrive at the Crack of Autumn,
I am arrested and feel like I belong. And the
sound of your three syllable name echoes
like a romantic song.

I come alive to the pleasantry of your presence.
And your 30 day abode initiates the season
With your captivating and divine fragrance.

SCIENCE DID!

Light fades, drums serenade
Curtains drawn, swords displayed.
Kin of Daimyo cheer on Samurai
In their artistic display of kung foolery.

Time fades, Meiji Restoration came
Like daybreak, a new Japan made.
The sun rose on neon streets
Where once barefooted monks would meet.

Robi, a robot named
With confidence, a machine tamed.
Unlike a timid adult
Initiates conversation without fault.

A new Japan, another story
Shaped by time and divine glory.
On the Pacific Ring of Fire it once stands
Now endures earthquakes with steady hands.

Premium MemberAutumn’s Heat

A leaf dances in an autumn
breeze, my soul suddenly feels
cold. I'm anticipating summer's
death. Life of yesterday won't
escape tomorrow's grasp.
Fate can be cruel, but only
God knows why living things
have to die. Colder weather
initiates coming holidays.
Joy fills people's hearts,
kindness is catching. Spread
Love around. Hearts remain
stable till spring.

Premium MemberOctober

She halts the summer's heat
And renders it's timely defeat

She initiates the calm and coolness of life,
Rewarding with harvest, Festivity, and delights

She 's a bridge over troubled waters and snow
She startles me with beautiful colors to show.

She speaks of the harvesting benefits of hard labor
As well as preparedness for life of a different flavor.

She teaches me about balance, calmness, and poise,
Directing and shielding me away from all the noise.

October neither breeds nor bears bitter treats,
But she baths me with mild and tender sweets.

Within the Realm

The realm of spirit has many rooms that open doors
to our perception
The key to life lies in your ability to open up to forms
of self-reflection
Our living lessons are meant to teach so please tap
into your emotions
Life is poetry built upon the word so keep constructing
forward motion
Some still believe the backward notion that life only
exists in this dimension
I'd rather beg for forgiveness for forward thinking than
be left behind without permission
New thought initiates life extension as we travel the
road of evolution
Go deeper into yourself when you encounter problems
for it's there you find the best solutions

Home of the Illusions

Is full of concealment,
form, and void. A
plane of darkness
where immortals
descended from grace,
as their flames lay
buried under their temples
and forgotten by.

Intertwining within the
heart of matter lies
the key to hidden wisdom
hidden in darkness,
opaqued by the initiates.

Man's own unreality makes
him subject to the illusions,
as if he is a prey
of his own web.
He relies deeply upon
his faculties and go
against his own will as
he repositions his
chronological orders by
impeding upon the inevitability
as he becomes the cause
of his own effect.

Once the man soul
has ripened with knowledge
and wisdom, he is then
pluck like an apple,
ready to be harvested, then
assembling back to
the lake of fire,
from which he cometh.

Premium MemberTime And You

Time has everything
  You only have something
    From time life initiates
      And you integrates

Time awards great
  It offers love, not hate
    When things go absurd
      Your soul speaks unheard

Time survived its own existence
Yours has to live with persistence

World never asked you for a reason
Despite your fall in a season
If you rise, time holds the world
Because with time the world turns gold

Trials come not to put you down
But to give you time until sundown

Hills are tall and tough
Breaking your bones are not enough
Proving your worth a thousand times
Uncalled for to surmount the test of times

If you should flop or drop from up high
Do not fall playing like a bligh

If you will collapse and droop
Hold your soul, be calm and stoop

Manners come and go with time
Attitude is what speaks not mime

Your patience is the warrior that'll never submit
No matter how hard the lightning strikes and emit

Time will always be with you
Flow with the strength of time...
And let it grow with you!

Divinity

Tropical moonlight illuminates divination waters.
Seeking clarity in the cloudy mist
Traversing the corridors of my Mothers
Nightly birds , flying the afternoon skies.

Chaos yearns for a visit.
Whose doors will it knock on?
mine, no, another’s

Lightning stuck more than twice.
Who will console the mourning mother?
Whose child died after yesterday's cry

Mourners await a call.
To weep blood on a sunny market day

Cradle tired of harbors
Mat shredded and Back aches
nightly drum beats gone stale

If there must be a stay,
A sacrifice it is ;

Seven graves, seven heavens, seven carved Iroko
He who will dance with the winds must be well rooted.
Four points, four initiates, four-four faced kola
Only the sages have seen the last
Three times, three ages, three junctions, three white roosters
Another day is another morning.

To take from the spirit,
the earth must conceive from a splintered kola
To commune with the ancestral realm
Roosters must go on a journey of no return.
When morning comes, the Iroko sleeps.
