Lineage

I sit here with guilt and recent understanding.
I didn’t know what I didn’t know.
I sit here with remorse, and now I’m rebranding.
Because to live is to learn and to learn is it grow.

It is like I stepped in your shoes when I became a mother.
You were doing your best, one foot in front of the other.
They don’t know yet that I really don’t know.
But, to live is to learn and to learn is to grow.

Because one day they are here and the next they are gone.
In parenthood, there’s much more grief than what was led on.
You cradle and hold and put them to sleep.
Then you find yourself trying your best not to weep.

At times we wouldn’t speak, and at times, we would fight.
I don’t remember the last time I hugged you goodnight.
One day it stops and it hurts indescribably bad.
So many times, I just want to speak with my dad.

Time is precious but quick to pass by.
You deserve more credit than I ever provide.
These kids are my world, of the lengths I would go.
To live is to learn and to learn is to grow.

Medusa

As venomous as her snakes, 
Don’t let her honeyed words crawl onto you.
Or else you will be bitten to death;
She will tell lies in front of you.
Indescribably at her best manipulating the weak,
Her tyranny never failed to charm me; 
It surged week after week.
Medusa’s cruelty seethed all over the place.
The damned wicked gorgon is resurrected;
She’s one for the ages.

Ubiquitous Dream

Ubiquitous Dream

The dream seems
Ubiquitous
Solid and moving
With many boundaries
Many depths
Many interconnections..
No escape from the dream
It is dreamed..
Everything solid and
Imagined
Nighttime and daytime..
Yet a dream of nothing
Is another dream of 
Not knowing or
Emptiness..may seem
Shockingly 
Paradoxically
Indescribably  
Immediately 
Ubiquitous...

The Well

THE WELL

The emptiness inside,
unfathomably deep,
indescribably wide,
a void that will not fill
though pack it tight we will
with endless striving:
relationships, places, things.
Hauntingly, the space remains
a vacuum.

There is a well, a living spring,
meant to baptize everything:
the emptiness,
the blank charades,
soul voids that hunger,
pain,
sorrows that wrench,
guilt that gnaws,
the Destroyer’s grasping claws 
feeding his own emptiness.

Plunge in the Well, the flowing spring,
immerse the soul,
drink fullness, clean,
Christ alone, the water living,
fills every void,
all forgiving:
haunting guilts,
all crushing sorrows,
blessed hope for each tomorrow.
He fills us, fills us ever
that we thirst again 
never.

Caged


                          Ill-fated dreams caged in the sphere of
                          
                          doom drowns in tears

                          Reawaked by the horde of indescribably

                          old unforgiving monsters

                          Facing fierce demons taunting the heart

                          battle to resist then go forth

                          Still forsaken and purposely condemned

                          by his rapidly corroding self-worth

When Love Is Not Enough

 “I’m so sorry for your loss.”
 “She was a lovely person, inside and out!”
 With “ . . . so sorry” . . .  “ . . . so sorry” still sing-songing in my mind,
 I heard, “She’s in a better place, Dear!”
I cringed at this one while hugging the well-meaning, 
sweet friend and fighting the urge to scream, 
“She should be at the movies with her friends!”
My legs had no bones; 
God must have been holding me up. 
Oh, God, You could have simply refused to let her come to You! 
Then you wouldn’t have to be my legs.

The piano music and singing were almost indescribably beautiful, 
the parts I heard.
Our Pastor said all the right things, 
avoiding the common platitudes.
Of course, he didn’t disclose why her young heart failed. 

Love of family and friends was not enough, 
at that time, to comfort me.

She was hooked—from the first time. 
Rehab failed repeatedly.
My fervent prayers weren’t enough.
My love, which I thought was SO powerful, wasn’t enough.

Parents Tribulations

Perspired with pertinacity to bring up their progenies cozily,
Indescribably fondled them to make  them smile forever !
Built brick by brick their dreams about their off springs,
Hoped they would be cared in their twilight existence !!

Attained bread-winner status and focused on their selfish ends,
 But nonchalant towards the plights of the *** of their lives !
Not shared their anguish and joy played hide-seek with them,
Immeasurable is their love which brings no ecstasy to them !!

Dawned on them are the trials and tribulations,
Unheeded are their biological clock reminders of their hunger !
Precluded them their self-esteem from mendicanting,
Pestering hunger enfeebled them day-by-day!!

Villainous were they to throw the old ones from their home,
Knew nothing where to go and stay!
Marched out without destination,
Accompanied them their tears and sorrows !!

Ponderously made it to a place to seek shelter,
There a good Samaritan took care of them !!

Ode Deer

Deer, Oh, Deer, oh lovely host!
Do you enjoy your Christmas trust?
You pull the sleigh, with magic born,
across the sky 'fore Christmas morn. 

Oh. Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen,
Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen,
and Rudolph, do you recall, the very
first Christmas in a manger stall? 

Shepherds, sheep, donkeys, and cattle
witnessed the birth in a barn.
Throughout the world animals rejoiced
on the day the Savior was born. 

Your ancestors may, on that glorious day,
have looked on a beautiful star.
And known that the marvelous, miraculous,
birth had occurred in a place rather far. 

To have been chosen, from your kindred,
to honor His glorious birth and election
so the world would remember, late in December,
is your honorable, noteworthy, selection. 

Your existence is fable, unlike the stable,
but your mission is similar to His own;
For you carry peace and joy in a gift or a toy 
so Santa can visit each home. 

The joy that abounds as Santa makes rounds
is seen in each girl and boy.
To be part of His gift and give children a lift
is indescribably wonderful joy.

Bountiful colors of leaves to adore

Even though trees will be soon be bare

Attract the attention of passersby

Untimely winter-like days created 

The scene of a change of season

Indescribably gorgeous to behold

Festively adorned like an artists picture 

Underneath a blue Autumn sky

Lavish beauty for all to admire


Freely created for the pleasure of man

Artfully displayed, breathtakingly designed

Loving scattered across meadow and mountain

Lending serenity to the admiring throngs

Finding myself at a loss for words
And it's anything but writer's block
I've abandoned my pad and pen
Not a thought about the clock

Lost in tonight's moments
My heart's doing all the talking
It's got me walking on the clouds

Note: I wanted to write something about those times when love is so indescribably glorious that you're at a loss for words.. because they can't hope to contain what is going on inside the heart. Truly, sometimes the best song is the lyric without words!

Insatiable Insanity

Eyes sealed 
Forever of ecstasy in sight
Deliciousness beyond comparison 
Flavoured delight
Taste of you 
Lingering sweetness 
Streaming through my veins 

Lights little too bright 
Sounds hyper resonant
Skin tickled kisses
Taste..... indescribably decadent 
Senses wrecked by insanity of lustful wanting
Insatiable.

Dripping delicious 
Desires awakened 
Needful taboo come a knocking
Surrendered passion
Over and over 
Again
Mind shattering eruptions 
Constantly losing focus
Consumed by hunger
My only direction is you.

Waking Up Thoughts

Like a wildfire burning everything indescribably just taking advantage of the winds and the changing path of destruction. Never can it be to far gone. Never can it be real and so broken down to the roots covered in ash of the dying life that's floating through the air. And settling like a thick smog on the history of us. That was so unfinished and so unwritten. 
The strokes of the pen flashing and flickering in basted anger to complete a fairy tale of love and lies, to break down the walls I have begun to build. My heart has been yours without adultery and delay, you just choose to fill my head with the lies of a silver tongue rather then feel my heart beat near yours.

All Pure, Truth, Fruit and Water

All on your own there you are
surrounded by trees on an island
trees so bare no colour around
as far as eyes see alone you stand

One thing I brought was the Bible
the one book you can fully trust
simply full of God's inerrant truth
encouraging words so pure and just

With the land here so very bare
glad I brought nice and juicy fruit
full of colour and flavour so rich
fills you up from head to foot

On such a parched land so dry
brought pure water to quench my thirst
such a saviour in these conditions
keeps you going when about to burst

All of these ingredients so needed
for they are indescribably pure
how long it'll be before I'm found?
don't know but just have to endure!

( just thoughts if left on desert island with just few favourate things)
