Better

Better dead than living,
Better terminated than throbbing,
Better left than held,
Better abandoned than acquired.

Better understand than love,
Better pouncing than dancing,
Better challenged than agitated,
Better hungry than satiated.

Better feline than canine,
Better violence than romance,
Better cunning than running,
Better punched than bunched.

Better sorry than safe,
Better thrown than bowed,
Better disturbed than serene,
Better abused than adored.

Better soiled than vowed,
Better cuffed than chatted,
Better rough than soft,
Better fire than freeze.

Better statued than tattooed,
Better chaos than calm,
Better broken than forgotten,
Better strange than ordinary.

Better… always better.

LET ME BE

You dictate to me
as you want me to be,
you strap me down,
and then you frown
if I break free,
to be who I want to be!

Yes, I do not fit
I won’t stand or sit,
as you try to school,
dominate and rule
defining me to be!
what you desire to see.

How can you desire,
to light a specific fire
quelling other flames within me?
Oh, what expectation
and determination
to snuff out the me in me!

Deciding for me
to be or not to be!
how can you ever
make me want, what you prefer?

The 5th Period of the Independent Era of Philippine History:

The 3 Congregations

At the time of the great convergence of regions into 1 strong nation

And the great coalescence of nations into 1 powerful region

A histrionic assembly of great religions takes place

A dramatic gathering never before in the history of human race

The Religions of Abraham

Judaism, Christianity, Islam

Altogether sing a song of glory

To the One God Almighty

The Religions of India

Those of Guru Nanak, Mahavira & Krishna

Altogether sing a song of glory

To the One God Almighty

The Religions of Caodaism

Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism

Altogether sing a song of glory

To the One God Almighty

This is the 5th Period of the Independent Era – The 3 Congregations

They come together with Baha'is & other 1 God religions

This is the Divine Coalition that fosters harmonious unity

God shows in the Philippines that He is the One God of humanity.

Second Hand Thoughts

Thinking second hand thoughts
Battles second hand fought
Testaments rooted in foundational rot

Let Us Sing Our Days Away

As I appear today
don't know if Summerland is far away!
Would you regret to stay...
and ease a lonely man's pain?
Is love to feel this way?
Then I am not the same
Let not my heart to stray
and leave this beautiful game!

But if I said too much
beg you forgive my touch
Let us sing our days away!

As I appear today
don't know if Summerland is far away!
Would you regret to stay...
and ease a lonely man's pain?

But if I said too much
beg you forgive my touch
Let us sing our days away!

Independent Heart

A riverbank, a farm, the field, wildflowers, birds, bees
The beautiful tall willow tree at the end of the farm
Blue sky, crystal air, countryside, childhood’s age of life

Unforgettable times, moments, years, beautiful past
Youth age, my past, dead hope and time, sad faithful life
It is good to remember my earliest fate in this life; oh life!

Live in nature is a blessing of life, a gift from the highest
Live in Nature is a way to the High; into the highest life
Oh Life, how and where can I find my life and only heart?

Freedom, Independence, nature, purity, honesty, crystal life
Just live, and live in a big garden, live the greenest life
… Remembering the clean life

A life
Beating
Far
Hearth

The doll which talks

THE DOLL WHICH TALKS

Long curls and curved lashes
Turquoise dewy smiling eyes
Perfect grooves and curves
Jubilant and diligent
Impeccable and affable
Zipped lips pricked shells
….. the most adorable doll
Diamond heart hollow encephalon
……. amiable charming doll

Word reference:

Shells: ear
Encephalon: brain
Diamond: most nonfragile

I- I learned so many lessons from your
N- negligent neglection of my rose petal heart
D- Do you ever think about anyone except yourself? I don't
E-even care to ask anymore because I'm learning to love me for everything that is beautiful with the brokenness and pain
P- Pouring peace into my garden with seeds of purpose planted right next to the
E-evergreen foreshadowing the ongoing journey of me. Oh hello,
N-nice to see you in the mirror finally, focus on being the best version of yourself and you will naturally attract what's good for you
D-Don't go searching out of desperation, this will only create a greater separation from your mind and soul
E-Easy hugs you when you kiss everything hard, face your fears and you'll start to see the real you. The
N-new you changing from old clothes,
T-the fit is killing them tonight
p.s. think I'll treat myself to a date night...

Independent Investigator

Exactly just how

Morally corrupt

And bent

Either a

Judge or a Policeman

Must be

If they are chosen or picked

To investigate into

Or lead an enquiry

In regards to judging corruption

Of their own

They surely must have more

Skeleton's in their closet

Than every cemetery

In the known world

Either that or they have

Dementia or Amnesia

with nothing buckled down
voices clash in debate-angry
lured into playground fury
independent thought spinning the air
overlapping like the puzzle pieces of poetry
words in a labyrinth

voices of proclamation
boundary pushing
clashing against a wall of not listening
when independent thought trumpets its sheen of
                                                                   self creation
but looses itself
in the formless rage of "I am right"
                                           justification

Sigrid's Sandbags

Braced to fight tough for triumph
         Stockpiled testosterone
         Fizzed bicarb in her bloodstream
         Sucked bitterness alone

         Flooded home, battle surmounted
         Safeguard marshy roost
         Maladvised maveric trudged pond
         Stacking bags of no use

         Swirling water swarmed by spiders
         Fear erased from register
         Starless, deserted street industrial
         Duty lead dim endeavour

         Depth defiantly rejected her efforts
         Scream's echoing ignorant
         Yelled "help" at selected emptiness
         Six months pregnant Sigrid

         Fortfied ego, throat sore, exhausted
         Dry in her fortress upstairs
         Concede agitated bruises encumber
         Defences laid dull despairs

                      31st March
          Dependence is not defeat

Independent Sorrow

Independence gave me everything-
Green forest, crystal rivers, silent
Mountain, refreshment nature

Independence gave me enthrallment
Touch of the flying birds, sportive
Cattle, dreamy moonlit night and
The golden rising sun with a realistic day

Independence gave me my mother tongue,
Brave worthy honorable flag and nation,
With nationality it gives political sovereignty,
Religion expansion, social inter-relation and
Economic development

Independence gave everything that it to give
By taking away everything that to take away;
Independence didn't take away the sorrow in
the mind of the independent man and it can't

O misery of life! who is your true buyer?

i miss her
        the cat who rode
            on my shoulder
who liked blue cheese
        and pastries
who would swipe her paw
        to remove food
             from my plate!

boundaries?
        she ignored them!
        she visited the shops
            by herself
              stretched on the sidewalk
                 greeted people…
for after all
     she was
         a street cat

she hunted
     with the best
          brought treasures
              to share
independent
      from other cats
          dependent on us
for affection
       more than food

she lay on my bed
       waiting, grasping at
           her last strands
i came home
      wrapped her
      held her close
      felt her heart beat
she seized and
      ceased.
i miss her.
