Howler

i miss her the cat who rode on my shoulder who liked blue cheese and pastries who would swipe her paw to remove food from my plate! boundaries? she ignored them! she visited the shops by herself stretched on the sidewalk greeted people… for after all she was a street cat she hunted with the best brought treasures to share independent from other cats dependent on us for affection more than food she lay on my bed waiting, grasping at her last strands i came home wrapped her held her close felt her heart beat she seized and ceased. i miss her.
