If, as the saying goes,
'There's no smoke without fire,'
is it smarter to ignite a spark
(illumination causation)
than bedamn the dark,
and thereby induce a funeral pyre,
or, better yet, a safer bet,
to avoid gossip and accusations,
find the substantiated fact(s)
(true datum)
before you act
and land in sorry situations?
It's no joke, on soot you'll choke,
yet, on the greener side,
carry the torch for earth non-scorched
but best your light you hide,
(it may be life-transforming)
beneath an unburnt bush,
so as not to incur global warming.

If Satan had said sorry
My hunger wouldn’t haunt me daily
I’d breathe in peace
And sleep without the weight of worry.
But pride made him defiant
He traded my hope for his ego
Now I walk through life unknown
With doubt as my shadow.
If Satan had said sorry
Maybe God would still feel near
And grace wouldn’t hang from a cross
Paid in blood to drown my fear.
Now I carry the weight of a war
That I was never meant to fight
Owing a debt I didn’t incur
Chasing dawn through endless night.

My new dryer
is defective.
I told the supplier
and a detective.
Socks go in,
but not all come out.
Lint comes out,
no doubt.
What could it mean -
as socks unseen,
and lint, to a percent,
are equivalent?
As clothes toss,
I incur loss -
a hot air curse
'til I put it in reverse.

Eternity lies within me,
Sharing a gift i see,
Another dance with reality.
How many will there be,
In each I've planted a seed
Before learning what they need.
To move further and lead,
A life I Am proud to leave,
Behind to move ahead.
Traveling galaxies in my head,
Leading me right back here,
This beautiful blue sphere,
And all the Life within her.
Witnessing the damage we incur,
Destroying major Ecosystems,
As she gracefully endures.
A dying future we feel equally,
Filling her with our negativity,
Treating her like our property.
It's disrupted the balance within me,
I return so that you may see,
The importance of your reality.
About the impact you could be,
Understanding the gravity,
Your tied to this cavity.
A body you cant leave,
Your gift to receive,
Believe in your Destiny,
When Earth Dies,
You will no longer be.

Abomination
I wonder what it means to be called an abomination
and if this has any relationship to being a damnation,
as there must be certain things that people do in deserving condemnation
which go against all reasonable human laws and are opposed to salvation.
If what has been handed down from the past is any indication
then we are somehow all obliged to follow with a dedication,
for our own sake and that of all our so called many relations
who are subject to the same weaknesses, trials and temptations.
To some it may seem there need not be any restriction
which will generally only incur a justifiable conviction
for any laws broken and usually dealt with a harsh sanction
when blame or guilt can be done away with by a transaction.
There are so many things people do without any justification
except to satisfy their own sense of individual expectation
especially where the actions done are without any provocation
against a fellow human being who’s an object of victimization.

For years I’ve passed a sculpture
When I walk at break of day.
It’s very unobtrusive,
Likely meant to be that way.
It’s just one word carved out of wood
And tethered to a sign
Reminding people not to park
Or they’ll incur a fine.
The word is “indivisible”
And in the USA,
It’s front and center in the pledge
That schoolkids learn to say.
We’re meant to think our country
Is united and, with pride,
We pledge allegiance to the nation
Where we all reside.
But lately, we’re divided
Like an apple cut in two,
Each half belonging to a crowd
That’s cloaked in red or blue.
This week I found the sculpture gone
And I was not surprised;
Perhaps the artist figured out
His hope’s been compromised.

When there is a torrential rain,
A puddle starts to form
And quickly turns into a lake,
Which shouldn’t be the norm.
Okay, I do exaggerate –
It’s closer to a pond,
Yet it’s too deep to wade through
If you want to get beyond.
This giant puddle (mini-pond)
Is on my walking path
And though I shouldn’t be surprised,
It does incur my wrath.
So I must then retrace my steps
And go a different way,
Which is exactly what I did
When on my walk today.

Intrusive thoughts inside my head
Internal conflict while I lie in bed
Visions are getting blurry but louder
I'm getting weaker by the hour
My body feels like it’s decaying,
My hopes and dreams evaporating
Voices in my head start ringing
They sound just like the sirens singing
I know they’re deadly, lethal, fatal
I try to stray, but I’m not able
The singing slowly turns into screams
I feel a sharp pain inside my spleen
I know what I did to deserve this pain
And now I know I cannot change
The things I’ve done to incur this wrath
When I try to get up, I slowly collapse
Back to the bed in which I am laying
And my blurry vision keeps on fading
I feel like I’m at the end of my rope
There's nothing I can do nothing to help cope
And as my last words start to spray
I feel that rope begin to fray
This is what happens when I let the shadow within
Triumph over me with a horrendous win

A strange woman
can turn you into
a deranged human
Lust not after her
She'll leave you to
just rot, heavy cost incur
Eye-grabbing, she will lure
Don't fall into her trap
Soul-stabbing she is, stay pure
With false vows, she entices
Be not seduced by her beauty
She'll waltz, carouse, all wayward vices
Stay away from her streets
Her house directs to death
Play, then prey - that's how she defeats
An amorous alliance with her
can steer straight to hell,
A dangerous dalliance with a sweet whisperer

Fail not, Time and season
Secretly, my ward faded
With unflinching fire attack
Want to speak
Don't want to confess
As Diamond and Gold tripe
Cloud the sky of my heart
I'm lost and scared to be found
Ouch, my heart got pirated
I began to trod in incur clat
The evening of me become blurry
I'm the Lion with the snail mind
My confidence weathered
Time and season waited in my closet
But I kept them wasted
I took the tick of time for illusion
As I journey with failure as companion
To get burnt on the way
Nothing more to fear
My heart has embraced it sore
The world seems lonely
Only for me to stand boldly
To see the new dawn, flowing
Through a new lucid

Please, remain calm Resident:
Just for the New President...
I can see in his tenure
That farms shall meet rich manure,
Farmers quite huge bags procure,
Less of farm losses incur,
Sick plants and animals free cure
And, first, economy, cure!
So, relax Tense Resident:
You shall have Sweet President...
One who shall fight Man's failure,
Close Office of Sinecure:
Keep saying "Not my tenure!"
Allow to stay: Manicure,
Not embarrass Pedicure,
Orders that their taxing sure,
To not escape same Coiffure...
President for 'The Long Poor'
Not included Roadside Whore;
Against her shall go to war,
Tell her to her face "She's raw"
And her kicking out in store...
Means, therefore, all residents
Need to cheer up dissidents.

I'm a flower; I stand tall and primp for the world to see,
As a blooming princess, I incur both acclaim and glory.
Shaking shyly under a whimsical sky in dull tree stumps,
Soft melting snow vacuums up my tumescent clumps.
Eastward, where the eagle's feathers spread for flight,
Glow magnifies, bidding farewell to the fading twilight.
Once the days lengthen, they grow rosier and warmer,
Wintry endless dullness for my darling little charmer.
Paving the way for brighter days and lifting the spirit,
Vivid illumination, glowing embers, ruby, and pure merit.
Vibe shone in dual heat, a starry sky coated in sublime,
As stirring winds sate the slight cold, of ululating time.
Awe-inspiring bliss at the first arrival of spring thrill,
The morphology of the blooms on the saffron daffodil
Ritzily jasmine, eerie whispers ripple across the woods,
Spring, my lover, spills my soul in its pacific moods.
Fields of color bloom with bright joy, in ribald delight.
Narcissus competes with tulips for greater height.

Doctor Embroil you are wanted at ER
the nurses teary eyed never did once stir
as a child that lay on a gurney, after a sprint incur
mumbled with delirium
SEND IN THE CLOWNS, SEND IN THE CLOWNS
A four year old boy who called everyone one Sir
lay dying at the center though he spoke with a slur
his hearing was intact, though quiet was his purr
father promised me, ...
SEND IN THE CLOWNS, SEND IN THE CLOWNS
His matted curly hair smelled of African rain
his little hands clutched a moment insane
Dr. Embroil put your red nose on, so he craned
I got you boy, ...
SEND IN THE CLOWNS, SEND IN THE CLOWNS
his mom outside a corridor leaning on her cane
begged for a miracle" God take away his pain"
as a finger full of light touched his apterium,
the boy smiled and said,
DON'T BOTHER, HE'S HERE

The gloss of Great Things of allure
A young heart continues to lure
But poor efforts bar through failure,
Hardworking farmers no manure,
Not a lot of The Tried secure;
From them distanced fertilizer
Otherwise The Stabilizer…
The grandeur of Things of Allure
Makes one unpleasant risks incur,
Cries of “Oh! my God!” reoccur,
One is some leg bitten by a cur
One: a freezing body, no fur!
Yes: pearl, ruby, emerald, gold:
All that we gaze at Hands unfold.

I awoke to her smile and her blinding light
when it came to heart and soul she was out of sight
Shadows of trees bend over in effort to enlighten her
but all they did was caress her cheek, for she could not incur
As different as the stars and the moon, she was unique
she heard sounds and things so loud they would yell not speak,
she felt at the power of God's caress though others in stoic ways
immersed her in chaos, as they served her only betrayals;
Until she was identified by what made her different and quite sharp
then at the cutting edge of life, she became a blessing a soft harp
I awoke to her comment, I can feel her silent acceptance and smile
