Immanence

A rouged sky paints a clown's face,
on a dawn rising moon.

The open earth, that not closed in
by brooding trees,
but is as spread-out acres,
where the hush and harken
darken eyes and ears,
to surmise with a blind expectancy,

Yonder fields of tall, unhooded grass,
rattle their spines and tremble,
before an unseen avalanche of doubts.

Stiff hedgerows crouch
over darkly webbed roots,
fears huddle under thin skins,
a subdued ground waits to be found.

It comes,
the storm inside the stillness
blooms, still unseen
its tumult as yet a far stretch.

All the cup-shaped,
all the cupped and hollowed,
will be gagged and drowned,
by a plunging sky --- one not yet nigh.

Too late,
a squirrel barks a warning.

A teacup of terror has been spilled,
unbowed heads unwillingly turn,
wondering -
wherefore, to where?

Ponder On This

recognising enigmatic space
holding immanence in its womb
an entity seemingly transcendent
where all navigate its vast catacomb

whence bemused no more by illusions
essence of soul presence explores
noumena behind all phenomena 
piercing invisible void’s pores

My love,

Golden 
sun rays 
glitter on frozen 
snowy hidden land 
sleeping, still cold white
stretching to horizons 
last Shores 
I stand and scan, gaze
into the point of no return 
a chill runs my ancient spine
I can only watch, wait 
for the coming rains 
A promise to come
I feel the immanence 
of the golden sun 
falling 
falling
on my upturned
weathered face

Finite

a mindful watch 

lounges immanence

 simple measure

across the diamond sky

 stars fall

remarkable moves 

 visible light

blinding silent

 narration is the shimmer 

impressions exhibit 

 touch battered and savage

Bluebell Woods

path of bluebells briefed
oaken limbs breathe caution's wind
immanence emits

Lavender lips of light spill forth her embrace
brushed soft glints of splendor 'cross my eye
left low, an aura hanging on a breeze   still
night moons burn   engulfing her grace

Fearless thy sight, guide where mist taints
tired trails forged, drapes heavy irons   held
release past pains, painted in amber tones
and shine steady, lifting up a weary soul

spirits held still
onward notions pure
reverence withdrawn

Blue Waves

We hear them crashing,
Into us,
We fear their immanence,
That split second,
The silence before the crash,
We close our eyes,
Only to realize,
Our life before us,
Immense power,
So destructive,
So powerful,
Death defying,
Yet beautiful,
Yet awe inspiring,
Yet the apple of life,
We are sand,
We small bits of gold,
We fear the crash,
Even though,
We are indestructible.

Abba of the Ages

Eternity, where
Immanence-transcendance
mutually reinforce.
When alien is at home, 
the desert in the sea.
While impossible to seek,
knowing is bestowed
and all elect, 
the sons of art.

Here invention's noble thrust
sujects itself to faith in vanity
the measure of depth
a evanescent film,
and piety
the shallowest of all.

Abba-beyond all time and space,
closer than a heartbeat-
resides in secret,
non-invasive,
distant the needs of flesh
and yet divinely intimate.
Duality unknown,
can view with equanimity
the blood-soaked pores
from Nazareth,
evoking tears of joy.

Abba-let us speak of love 
but first in cultivated awe
acquire the power to fail,
to scale the pinnacle
of childhood
and view with newer eyes
a lovliness remote
and inaccessible
to those who seek the stars.

Leave something for me to imagine.
A skeleton in a pond

In an air bubble

name, wasted away on water.

to anguish of man.

I thought of my sun
