My Love

My love,
my heart is in flames and
I am hostage to your love.
Burn me with your radiant eyes
and I shall only reward you.
I leave the house thinking
only of you, your love and
tenderness, your elegant fingers
wrapped in my hands and fingers.
My love, pardon my errors,
I'm lost for the words to describe you,
the beauty that ever was, the charm, heartfelt trust.
I'll observe the time's indolence,
love's alchemy of immanence.
We're thrown in this world in coldness,
rescued by love's boldness.
My last breath of air is
to thank god for the pleasure
of knowing your love's treasure.
