Ignoramuses Poems | Examples

childish and childlike
in no way similar except for spelling
Yet they often get thrown together as similar
by ignoramuses who do not understand
one is a compliment
while the other has a mean connotation.

Calendared nature admits
		winter has come and gone
		and makes no apologies
		for lingering chilled moments;

		The audacious mendacity of spring
		has clamped down a frost-bite
		on the wolfing climatic ignorance
		of ignoramuses who wallow in deceit;

Albeit it all, the cosmic deceit of nature
cannot be ignored by seasoned sufferers
and their sinusitis chains of oppression:

Now the winter of our discontent
must yield to a spring’s new awareness.

         Hope Has a Place

It blooms like a rose in your heart,
Then blossoms fullest on your face.
It's in all the mail you send,
That makes another heart sing!

It waltzes with grace in your poetry,
With near human dimensions!
You never even give a hint,
That you are a victim of depression.

Surrounded by ignoramuses, though you may be,
You stand tall, with pride and a bright smile.
You make totally sure, you never poison the air,
With that killer of souls ~ negativity!

It was a very, humid summer day.
Too hot to any god to pray.
So being hot, tired, hungry and all~
We decided to followed AOC's call.

When hungry, she said, "go steal".
So we followed her advice with great zeal.
We took our empty orange Nike boxes.
To fill with bakery goodies~ we are such
clever foxes.

Tonight, some pizza would be so good.
But what boxes are best~ ones of wood?
This will be a great summer, we cheer?
While forlorn store owners, oh well, may
shed tears.

New York City is now our town!
Businesses run by stupid working clowns.
Those ignoramuses out to earn a living?
Such dunces, it's from them we are stealing,
as there is no policing!

Chained To a Wall of Stone

Arrogant science
Has endangered our children
Vain ignoramuses
Have made us their victims

Was it much too much to ask
To leave the children alone
Now we feast on bread and water
While chained to a wall of stone

Where is the recourse
What is the outcome
The emperor’s fiddling
While burning the kingdom

Was it much too much to ask
To leave the children alone
Now we feast on bread and water
While chained to a wall of stone

Meddling in God’s field
Puts us to pasture
Whole worlds in our image
New potential for failure

Was it much too much to ask
To leave the children alone
Now we feast on bread and water
While chained to a wall of stone

We Slum Dwellers

We slum dwellers strive through arduous thistles of hardship
We tough it out through the mere adroitness of apprenticeship
We writhe morosely, carrying the world over our shoulders
But we tussle toughly the travails like soldiers
We're the slaves that bolster the aplomb of the upper crust
The hapless mendicants whose ascendancy the haves must thrust
The loyal ignoramuses that politicians use for their puissances
The impoverished natives the government uses to seek aid for its juissances
The kooky denizens that researchers scrutinate as a case study
The inane old guard whom the civilized take as nerdy

We sleep like foiled wolves and wake like champion lions
We carouse in our wobbly shanties like they're our Zions
We wade through the filthy excrement as our daily tracks
These afflict no more, for we've in vain raised our flacks
We accept to be the encumbrances the society discard to roaming sellers
But we know behind the hurdles what we dream, we slum dwellers

Azalia Part 4

Bow down to the queen
The intervention of god and Satan
Listen to her words are be sodomized, ye bastards of the slumps
Honor the demoness of carnage and sin
A prophet of suffering and death
An opening void of warmagedon
Hail Demora
Becoming a new adoration
Her boundless joy
She slain all risen gods
Submit to her delighted rage
Hail Demora
Ignoramuses charge the gate
Victims of her blood sport
Executed underneath the cursed sun
The wrath of a ruling queen
Eradicated under the mass death
Spare none, treachery, you will not survive
Her infatuation of bondage torture
Till you lay skinned and rotted
She is the black vison of unholy sacrament
The birth of wilder hate
Her mastered passion greed
Forges a new dark age
Playing the view of war, she grins
With sinister wyes echoing a demonic laughter
As innocent burn in cremation
Hail Demora

My Mind

Unlocked doors within the realms of my
mind are divine and so authentic I must
say, you must be some kind of maniac or
crack addict with bad tooth decay to ever
think to feel what I endure everyday I'm
not complaining just explaining the reason
my thoughts are astray

I want to escape this mental dome it's not
my home and I refuse to stay in this day I
am Alone because no one feels for me

I pray and there are changes but that's not
the the problem you see im stuck with a
bunch of ignoramuses who lack social
empathy

A Lost Smile

I think of all my smiles that I've worn,
which hide my sorrows underneath.
No one seems to notice that ,
I'm going through so much grief.
I cry and cry inside my pretty little tired eyes,
no one actually seems to realize,
what is presently going inside.
I'm going far away from everyone.
That no one seems to see my real pain.
My heart is totally broken after so much suffering,
unable to face anyone.
It feels like it's the last of my life,
As i have got no support by my side.
I have really started to abhor myself and
have started to find things quite uncertain.
I find people to be quite ignorant towards me,
as it is,i know they are idyllic without me.
I am very puzzled at present,
What to do?Is my situation.
I only meet illusive people in this inconsiderate world.
I am such a numpty person,
that in this world expect people to know my situation.
After knowing as it is they would remain ignoramuses.

Each Week

No one likes being out of the loop
So latest scoop is to start a poetry group
Writing about subjects in the news
And why there is no perfect excuse.

What I write about I find in my mind
And if any of it was left behind,
It probably to you was of no concern;
Would end up having much heartburn.

I believe in writing about current affairs;
Look around and will see layers and layers
And to me what really seems to appall
Are the ignoramuses who don't care at all.

If Brunswick County wants to become literary
Should start off with opening a poetry library
For those who are exquisite and inquisitive
Who with their lives in libraries love to live.

Meeting and things started out as a big mess
Then ended up being a complete, total success;
Everyone loved it from time they were seated
And now each week they want it to be repeated.

Premium MemberModern Zoos

Zoos were once only despicable cages
Where animals were teased and taunted to rages
For the amusement of the ignoramuses
Who were not as smart as the hippopotamuses.
But the modern zoos are a different story
Where the residents live in freedom and glory.
Only the naysayers most pessimistic
Could find fault with the naturalistic
Conditions in which pampered animals abide,
Well fed and cared for. No need is denied.
Each species is given an ideal space
To live there in luxury and no enemy face.

Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, an hours drive away
Is a great place to go on a bright summer's day.
It's a beautiful park and magnificent zoo,
And the best place to go for a bag of zoo do.
