My beloved can read the language of stars.
He reminded me what's for me is meant to be.
He is helping me heal my soul of its scars.
My beloved knows everything of this reality.

So patiently we observe each other.
My charm won me the truest lover's heart.
So curiously we become closer.
His charm guides me to a new start.

My beloved and I are cosmic magicians.
He believes in my power to change things.
I believe in his seership and devotions.
But I'm afraid I can't change some things.

So patiently he deals with me.
Prayers won me an honest-to-goodness man.
So curiously I align with thee.
Your prayers making me realize... I can.

I tried to skin her, but no dice
        Tried again, no luck twice

Cut her with a knife, an utter failure
So, I stood her up, tried to impale her

When that didn’t work, I felt like a jerk
        Time for some hands-on handiwork

I shook her and squeezed her, out came her juice
All squishy and gushy, her moorings came loose

Honest to goodness, she smelled sweet from all angles ~
Mangoes taste best slightly chilled if serving them mangled

This Friday night was as-black-as-coal, he ignites a blackberry-colored cigar,
His belly is filled with fried chicken, Hennessy, and caviar.

This is, without-a-doubt, undeniable…

The intoxication is accredited, and honest-to-goodness notarized,
The spirit hypnotizes critical-thinking, the caterpillar forgets the past as a butterfly.

This is, without-a-doubt, undeniable…

Each step is measured, closer to the building filled with aria and gloss,
The alluring drip of feminine sustenance, high-heals and eyeshadow sauce.

This is, without-a-doubt, undeniable…

The morning is beautiful, he puffs a blackberry-colored cigar,
His arms are filled with feminine physiques, the ambient attraction of a superstar.

This is, without-a-doubt, undeniable.

I Wish I Knew

(In Memory Of Mrs. Vera Latney)

Honest to goodness, I wish I
knew
Why the LORD took Me away
from you
Leaving you to feel bewildered,
lonely and blue
Almost sick to the stomach, as
if from the flu
Honestly, I wish there was some-
thing I could do
And, I would "if on the other foot
was the shoe"
But, you know-to tango-it takes
Two
Please forgive Me, for I have Not
one clue
'Cept My love for You, will Always
be True

Starry Eyed (A Decastitch)

Honest to goodness golden stars-
Embedded in my Baby's eyes;
Flecks of bronze on fields of green.
Lordy! how they mesmerize.
Mischief filled; slight hints of sorrow and;
Several shades of wisdom.
PromisesOf wonderful, wicked , sweet surprise.
She had me hooked
The first time I gazed upon-
Golden starbursts, In Baby's eyes.

Tell Me a Lie...

...that are no wars or unfed civilizations left in the world
An honest to goodness President always keeps his promises
Man will eat only vegetables instead of meat from God's Creatures of the Forest
BEST BUY always has their new DVD releases out on time regardless of Genre
The Paper Boy will always wear a smile when they deliver(Without a wrinkle or crease)
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will finally induct The Monkees(with or without Mike Nesmith)
Liver makes the entire meal and We will always come back for seconds
Third graders in every Elementary school will tell only what is true instead of lies
To write a Poem can be easy and fast instead of long and ponderous
THIS POEM IS A GOOD PIECE OF WORK
