I Wish I Knew

(In Memory Of Mrs. Vera Latney)

Honest to goodness, I wish I
knew
Why the LORD took Me away
from you
Leaving you to feel bewildered,
lonely and blue
Almost sick to the stomach, as
if from the flu
Honestly, I wish there was some-
thing I could do
And, I would "if on the other foot
was the shoe"
But, you know-to tango-it takes
Two
Please forgive Me, for I have Not
one clue
'Cept My love for You, will Always
be True
