Reward

This is what it is like?
Is this my reward?
What I deserve.

Devoted and hard working
Back is breaking
Cage me
Wrestle
Tug and tie this bow we have held together
All this time

Cut you
Lose you
Lose this sight
Lose these thoughts
You're nothing but a hinderance to me

Wish you weren't here
Wish you weren't born
Wish you weren't mine
In my life

Get gone and lose this lifeline
That I call you mine

The Blag Of An Insecure Lad

Ignorance doesn’t ask questions,
thinks it’s weak to be confused
reliance on interpretations
doesn’t second guess the clues
arrogance shows what it knows
communicates itself with vigour
as if surrounded by those slow
to demonstrate their brain is bigger
the ignorance that lives in bliss
the arrogance to know what is
the brazen need to be the best
undiagnosed mental complex
to never admit the error you made
diverting attention onto another
critical of how others behave
claiming all they cause is bother
call them a hinderance
but one you will help
and with great significance
for nothing your self
you go from the victim treated unfair
to the selfless hero who puts himself there
talk of your friends who cause you despair
and then be the reason they get anywhere
as if you’re friends with the lowest creatures
such stupidity of the mentally weaker
and suddenly you appear such a great fella
way up high all above those in the cellar
but isn’t it so sad
to look good they look bad
when you are the perk
you better the sag
unaware that this blag
is of an insecure lad!

Hollow Me

I don't show the pain inside. Not really hiding just always a torrent just beneath the surface. I smile, I joke, I live life the only way I know how. Everything I wish I had then, I still long for now. I give love, caring, patience, and time. I give my whole being to the ones I love. No one seems inclined to do the same for me. I want held. I want comfort. I want safety. I want peace. But alas I think it shall always remain out of reach for this accidental life. Born without purpose or plan by those that I should call mom and dad. I was a mistake, an unfortunate circumstance. Once the one they had planned, had purpose, had wanted was born I truly learned my place in life. To be forgotten, ignored. To be excluded, a pariah. So even now these many long years I feel the same. Lesser, unworthy, a hinderance to be avoided, never to be held, nor comforted, or made to feel safe.

I was mistakenly born unto this world, because of which I do not belong. Never to find that which I seek, so on until the next life I do endure to hopefully find my purpose, to find my peace.

Premium MemberRefocusing Life's Lens

A constant buzz of busyness
Continually swarming us
Easy to get dragged down
Caught up in the fuss

While in the moment
All you can say is c’mon
Poked like a voodoo doll
The pain keeps piling on

Balancing your emotions
What a rollercoaster ride
Walking on a tightrope
Just trying to get to the other side

Starting to change my stance
What I viewed before as a hinderance
Is actually where the happiness lies
Just couldn’t see through the interference

Zooming out my focus
Seeing through a new lens
Realizing the small moments now
Are really life’s little gems

Daily drama no longer a downer
Instead cherishing my mess
Because when it’s gone for good
I’ll remember these times were the best

Hinderance

You look so alive
You've got everything in the world
Got it all going for ya
In all the best ways possible
Don't stick around me

I'm just a hindrance

"I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human
being with an independent will.” - Charlotte Bronte

I live in a country where I am free
free to be me, to say what I want to
to think without any hinderance, restraint
I am not controlled or ever limited
freedom of religion, of speech, of thoughts
of education, the ability to vote and complain
this is freedom

I love being free, never confined
knowing nothing of bondage or slavery
the power of choice is mine to take
I have opportunities and liberty in life
my country has human and legal rights
I know nothing of war in my country
no bombs will wake my sleep at night
this is freedom

I wish every country in the world
knew the freedom that I exist in

Hinderance

We See Visions
Beyond The Imaginable
Yet We Pull Back
Upon Reaching Them

It's Right There
But We Stop Believing
Hindering Ourselves
From Moving Forward

Arise And Grasp
The Outskirts Of Life
Allowing Every Moment
To see value

Your Omnipresence

She says I write (poems) only coz of her absence,
I said, I've known you since my adolescence.
Shared the joy, grief and every experience,
Enjoyed each bit of your coexistence.

Since you left, how hollow is my residence,
I fail to enhance any of its ambience.
In vain I tried a dozen incense,
But couldn't match a perfect fragrance.

You mark the bold feminine quintessence,
Just the perfect beauty and brain confluence.
Manage all with such due diligence,
My shining star with an unerring radiance.

I long now to feel your presence,
Time has tested our immense endurance.
Hope to keep some more patience,
Together we shove all hinderance.

Have'nt you felt my sole dependence;
Your memories truly have a divine omnipresence.

Premium MemberThe Oyster Meditation

DELVE INTO THE BEAUTY OF THIS WORLD AS IF IT WERE YOUR OYSTER
GO TO IT AS IF IT WERE A GIFT WRAPPED JUST FOR YOU AND YOUR
SENSES. WIPE CLEAN EVERY THOUGHT AND REMOVE ALL THE FEAR
AND HINDERANCE OF THIS WORLD. TAKE LIFE WITH AN INTAKE OF NEW
BREATH ANDMEDITATE ON THE MEANING OF LIVING, THROUGH YOUR
MEDITATIVE STATE OF WELL BEING, AND INVIGORATE CHANTS. GIVE YOUR
SOUL NEW LESSONS TO LEARN THEN GO AHEAD AND (BREATHE)
RENDER TIME, IT IS AN EXTENSION OF YOUR CAREFUL THOUGHTS, SO
TEACH IT THE FINE ART OF PATIENCE, GOODNESS, AND ACCEPTANCE.
ALL GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME, SO DO NOT RUSH THE PROCESS OF YOUR
HEALING, NOR THE PROCESS OF YOUR LEARNING. EVERYTHING GOOD
COMES TO THOSE WHO WAIT AT THE PEARLY GATES OF HOPE AND
LOVE. (BREATHE)
DELVE INTO THE BEAUTY OF THIS WORLD AS IF IT WERE YOUR OYSTER
CRACK IT UP WITH YOUR EXCITED ANTICIPATION AND WATCH WITH
SWEET ELATION AS THE GIFT BECOMES YOU AND WEARS YOU WELL.
TAKE CARE, WALK GENTLY ON THIS EARTH , AND GIVE YOURSELF
NEW BIRTH WITH THE HELP OF YOUR CREATOR ALMIGHTY ! AMEN!
AND SO BT IT. !
NAMASTE ...

Premium MemberMore Than Just Friends

In the doldrums of a hushed space,
Of a part of vacuous open to silence,
Undisturbed stares party to patience,
The essence shared natures reticence,
Lies a formidable barrier of hinderance,
Unseeable with a naked eyes abstinence,
Choose to remain adamant in forbearance,
At times happens between friends ignorance,
As we part our ways oblivious to circumstance,
That this started out to be an odd happenstance,
For it went so out of hand it led us to imprudence,
And sort of panned to us both losing our innocence.

Stardust

We are stardust
Floating in celestial wind
Carried through the Galaxy
Our conscious knows no end

Dancing in ethereal colors
Painting life in rainbow lights
Sailing through the dark
Love igniting our souls spark

Diving in shades of cool
Letting go of all that fools
Ridding our hearts
Of every hinderance

We are stardust
Journeying through time
Searching for the path
That leads to eternity.

Dear Pamela

DEAR PAMELA
Dear pamela,
The song about you remind me of pains
Your smiles remind me of that day
The sun visited the earth in her full human
To touch the soul of another human being
Is to walk on a holy ground but yours is a
Burning hell decorated with brimstones
Instand of ros flowers which are made in woman's heart.
You are of sadness and weired experience to me
I take as my guide, the hope of a saint in
Crucial things but your presence in my life
Frustrates my believe and trust for womanhood.
I watched the time eroding away, my soul laughed
Sarcastically; your tears built the hut which
Harbour my happiness and my life is long gone
Leave now! I beg you with tears.
The day is still young and fresh to ruin my life
I look forward to get my lost rib not you
Young ladies await me in the corner
Do not be a hinderance to my life
Another will love and care for you more than me
My heart belongs to another, dear pamela.

Premium Member''When Platonic Best Friends Are Tempted''

A woman friend, of gorgeous pulchritude,
presents a man with an experience
of nervous, elated, erotic mood:—
to him it's a most welcomed "hinderance."

A guy friend of strong, chiseled, sexy good looks,
makes a woman self-conscious and confused,
when reading, "Fifty Shades of Grey," (soft-**** books)
and thinking of him while fully aroused.

They both may think of the possibilities,
and then wonder: "What can it hurt...if we cross
that line?" But is it worth the realities,
the risks, and the very real, potential loss

of a friendship? Best friends may be real fine,
but is it worth a hay roll (on Cloud Nine)?

Premium MemberPassion Pays, Not Patience

Of all that is free in life
there's one that stands out
passion without any strife
that's what it's all about

Take patience and passion
and mix the two together
until they part in fission
neither now the aggressor

In total harmony they meet
patience adding temperance
for'bearingly giving us mete
now loving without hinderance
