A constant buzz of busyness Continually swarming us Easy to get dragged down Caught up in the fuss While in the moment All you can say is c’mon Poked like a voodoo doll The pain keeps piling on Balancing your emotions What a rollercoaster ride Walking on a tightrope Just trying to get to the other side Starting to change my stance What I viewed before as a hinderance Is actually where the happiness lies Just couldn’t see through the interference Zooming out my focus Seeing through a new lens Realizing the small moments now Are really life’s little gems Daily drama no longer a downer Instead cherishing my mess Because when it’s gone for good I’ll remember these times were the best
