12 am midnight hour 
Felt uneasy, confusing! How suddenly I lost my power 
Went for shower my nervere on edge 
Knock knock ! A warning or a pledge 

Suddenly my gaze met mirror reflecting my face 
A creepy whisper "pretty" from unknown place 
My spine shivered , body got numb 
Took knife on my hold

In any Haunted House comes thrills and chills
Everything happening at will
The enter in with no way out
The sounds of Moans and cracks
Careful stepping in caution
Illusions
Drawing one’s conclusions
The Overtake of one’s soul
The welcome by hungry spirits
A run, but can’t move
One chance
Solely and surely determined
Screams and scare
There’s a beware
Darkness comes and the Moon turns black

     Far from city in haunted house 
    lived Macro mouse and Micro mouse.
    Macro fond of Micro : His spouse.
    Also stayed with them little louse.
     
    From roof crawling down octopus.
  

Haunted House No More

Reverberating eerie noise
Interspersed with tormenting voice
Always lamenting like that of sorrowful boys---
Oh, haunted house… you allow children not to rejoice!

Echoing agonizing wails
Constantly lingers midst cries of whales
Terrorizing passers-by who are on the trails---
Oh, haunted house… your mournful song prevails!

Beckoning conservationists to behold
Antique treasure to be preserved from cold
Calling now for the next generations to uphold---

Startled, I woke up in a fright.
The silhouette in the mirror is there again tonight.
Peering closer, the form is ghastly;
Pinching myself, covering my head, and lastly

Counting to ten and peeking through my fingers,
It must be a ghost as his skeleton hands linger
On the latch of the bottom drawer.
His long bony fingers fling my clothes on

I was always an odd curious little girl,
      and not far away was a haunted house;
unruly boys came often with big rocks to hurl,
            many times at windows I saw a mouse.

I was told stories of the house's history,

Half asleep, I sensed movement in my room,
and the air felt cold, it smelled like a tomb. 
Yet I couldn't see the ghost haunting this place;
it was more a shadow, without a face.

This notorious haunted house went cheap,
so the thought of ghosts didn't rob me of sleep.
But now, the hairs on my arms stood up
