Hard Days Night Poems | Examples

Getting Her Into My Life

do you want to know a secret
a hard days night, of no regret
saw this girl, seems like yesterday
misery soon flying away
and as I saw her standing there
from me to you, a kiss I’ll share
got to get you into my life
so please, please me, become my wife

money can't buy me love, I knew
she let it be and our love grew

Dead men
God's given them one time to reach.
He's split the wall, allowed a breach.
They are climbing out of death's grip.
They are running out of the cemetery, out of the crypt.
Life has iron rules, but they want to give you a reprieve.
They beg you to transcend, beg you to believe.
Listen to the dead before the fissures close
Can the present grasp what the past knows?
They've been let out by a caring fate
Will you attend before its too late?
The veil between worlds grows thin, beware,
It's a hard days night, and life isn't fair
Their desperate plea - don't ignore
They been there, made those mistakes before.
The sun is rising, they must go back
They bent the rules for you, a reality hack.
There's a glare in the air, impending strife.
Rethink your assumptions - will you choose life?

Hope Prevails

Hidden messages.
Subliminal.
Yet glaringly obvious to the keen observer.
I wouldn't have relations with someone incompetent.
So it shouldn't come to great surprise that I am seen through.
The intentions of youth obvious.
Yet Hope prevails.
The irony of the hidden message hidden in dab and shot soaked memory's.
Soon to be corroded from the flow of recollection.
A late nights morning.
Kissing the dry mouth of the dreary after a hard days night.

Premium Member Oh What Can I Do

Oh what can I do?
BABY’S IN BLACK and I’m feeling blue.
Red was the color she wore.
Everybody knows I’m sure.
Red is the color that will make me blue.
YES IT IS, it’s true.
Please LOVE ME DO.
You know I love you
and I’ll always be true.
I’ll love you like no other can.
I wanna be your lover, baby. I WANNA BE YOUR MAN.
It’s been A HARD DAYS NIGHT. I’ve been working lake a dog.
Soon I should be sleeping like a log.
I’ll tell you something I think you’ll understand.
When I say that something, I WANNA HOLD YOUR HAND.
As long as you’re beside me I need never care.
I want you HERE, THERE, AND EVERYWHERE.

Salute To the Beatles

They Come Together, and Get Back, and then just Let it Be.
The Yellow Submarine needs Help; and will you Please Please Me?
Sargent Pepper`s Lonely Hearts Club had A Hard Days Night.
Rubber Soul shot the Revolver at the Album White.
Imagine it was Yesterday, when we got No Reply!
You Can`t Do That?, Think for Yourself, and then please Tell Me Why.
Don`t Let Me Down, cause If I Fell, we couldn`t Twist and Shout.
Or take the Magic Mystery Tour, without Michelle, no doubt.
Across the Universe there`ll be The Long and Winding Road—
And just past the Strawberry Fields—the famous Abbey Road.
Well, Do You Want to Know a Secret? P.S. I Love You.
Run for Your Life, Eight Days a Week, if you don`t Love Me Do.
But You Won`t See Me, so I guess I`ll just Follow the Sun.
You`ve Got to Hide Your Love Away— If I Needed Someone.
I think You`re Gonna Lose That Girl, and no, It Won`t Be Long—
But Anytime at All, Another Girl would be just wrong.
Cause You Like Me Too Much, but I won`t let you Drive My Car.
I`m not aware of What Goes On, I Need You where you are.
I keep the Beatles In My Life, their music makes me smile.
And When I`m 64, I`ll still enjoy it for awhile.

Oh Darling!

When Im 64
I will remember "Yesterday"
And the "Hard Days Night"
That seem to happen "Eight Days A Week"
There will always be "Something" in the way she moves
And I will realize that "I Should Have Know Better"
That I would love this "Long and Winding Road"
