He's on a health kick,
Running until he's feeling sick.
No alcohol or flavoured vapes,
Sleeping eight hours with closed drapes.
Chopping up veggies with brown rice,
Drinking green smoothies with cubes of ice.
Avoiding French fries and burger meals,
Measuring his blood pressure when he feels.
Chicken is his only meat,
Especially eaten as a treat.
He has decaffeinated tea and coffee,
And natural sweetness in his banoffee.
Enjoying pasta with basil oil,
Some sourdough pieces, quite small.
Swimming daily fifty lengths,
To keep up his body strength.
He's a regular at the gym,
His personal trainer looks up to him.
Because he's on a health kick,
And exercising until he's feeling sick.
I go to the gym
so I can fit in
the pants I bought last year
Though I must admit
it's nice to sit
and study the leotards there
Enough of being lazy all these years,
Get up and just do it!
It’s time to move your soul,
Get up and just do it!
Take your clothes off,
And look yourself in the mirror,
Hate yourself for those fatty layers,
Get up and just do it!
It’s time to change your habits,
Instead of turning to your alarm clock,
It’s time to clear that mental block,
Get up and just do it!
Stop throwing around reasons,
Stop considering circle a shape,
Stop pampering yourself mate,
Get up and just do it!
Enough of those bull,
Life is beautiful and short,
It’s good to strike the iron when hot,
So, get up and just do it!
Nothing proud about being fat,
It’s ugly absolutely unhealthy,
Pump up some iron; its worthy,
Get up and ing just do it!
Yesterday, the gym, I was off to get fit,
I was going to shed all this weight,
And run and do arms, enjoy every bit,
And I wouldn’t leave any complaint,
So, I began on the mill, worked up a sweat,
I quickly lost all of my breath,
I thought “It’s only a walk, just like outside,
Maybe I’m out of my depth.”
Well, I left this machine, and went to the weights,
A small load I needed to lift,
And sat at the curl bench, with towel by my side,
And started lifting without any assist,
I stayed for an hour, it felt really good,
And last night it felt good in my head,
But today, when I woke, I couldn’t move a thing,
Today I’m staying in bed.
Hours of kick boxing
Eye lids on a constant sit up practice,
Blood flowing down through various yoga positions
Eye muscles are stretching
The lips lifting weights
Cells running on a treadmill,
After such a long boot camp
The mind ready for meditation.
My heart aches
I am fat
It's already too late!
The workout kills
The instructor is hunky
My stomach churns
I am overweight
It is not even funny
The weights are stuck to the floor
The stretch ribbons won't stretch anymore
My jiggly parts burns
Screw this, I'm out for the door!
Let's go out and have a food war
