zebras and giraffes are pals

Zebras and giraffes are pals with wows!
Like pygmy goats and milking cows
If predators are close, giraffes sound the alarm
Zebras run with their herd to avoid death or harm

BLAZING SUN BRIGHT SHINE IN LIONS HAZING GIRAFFES SOARS GRAZING-

For this you see I'm falling asleep; 
On these the golden fields;

Beneath the sun above the clouds;
Silent rises beset noise;
Congregational life praise hands loud;
Dawning glories burdens poise;

Shouts of jubilee roars;
Like a lion on his prowl;
Nursing timid giraffes soars;
Leap forth over gall they scowl;

Sun bright shine in lions hazing--

auntie needs seven giraffes

If I had seven giraffes, my life would be complete.
It would make my days tasty, my entire weeks sweet.
She is my aunt, but crazy, if you ask me or cousin Lou.
We figured out why she dated a keeper who worked at the zoo.

He brought in six more giraffes for her to put into her pot.
They were struggling to get away, our aunt is kind of a snot.
We waited until she went to sleep and let the giraffes all go.
Knowing the next morning our lives would be full of woe.

Those Giraffes

Once I had left my tea to cool
and two giraffes thought me a fool
they stuck their heads in
and formed a big grin
before drinking my tea. How cruel!

A Giraffic Surprise

Two giraffes went out walking side by side
Spied a dina with windows open wide
There was food on the table 
With long necks they were able
To eat and drink until giraffe-ified.

If giraffes by your window come near
and at food on your table they peer -
close that window before
your nice meal they explore
with long tongues that make food disappear!

Giraffes in the Cafe

We recently went to the zoo,
sadly there were animals few.
Until we all saw,
which caused an uproar,
giraffes in the café shop queue.

Tea Time

Although not invited, they came
The wide-open window was game!
Their long necks reached in
Gave licking a spin!
Giraffes enjoyed tea just the same!

Twin giraffes are we
each day at five we take tea

Lots of folk watch us each day
eat scones&cream on a tray

With our tongues we lick clean our face
some consider such etiquette a disgrace

They booked the restaurant two for tea.
The giraffes turned up promptly at three.
              They were way too tall you know. 
              The roof was too low and so,
They used the window to gain entry.

Picky Giraffes

The two giraffes lean over and lick.
Well, this is not the dinner we pick.
How about chocolate cake?
It is easy to make.
You make it with leaves, dirt, and a stick!

Conniving Giraffes

I've never seen a more comical face
than that of a giraffe begging for corn.
Its black tongue makes it look like a nut-case,
as its eyes stare down with an air of scorn.

Giraffes have a long triangular head
that sits high atop a serpentine neck.
And yes, they get disgruntled; enough said,
they are known to leave car windows a wreck.

Don't let its eyelashes play with your mind;
it's batting them for food; it's not a wink.
And don't think it's harmless, gentle, and kind;
it's far more belligerent than you think.

It stands aloof with a smug expression,
impertinently demanding handouts.
I don't want to give the wrong impression,
but stay alert when giraffes are about.

Proprietor after checking out
Asked; me 'Any tips?'
I misunderstood & said
'No need.'

Something's lacking in the way we're made
Could be our noodle
We act like kadoodles
Imagine stuff between daddy and the maid
