Sets the mood to that blue kind of high
And suddenly I am strung in the sky
With the clouds running through me
Chilling in me the crushing lullabies
I realize how significant they can mean
Why expect anything in return?
It is what you mean to me that burns

I wish in that moment…when the trails of melody ring
You would just listen to the song

It's like I'm riding a ferris wheel
and all I can see is the reds, blues and yellows in the sky
with the wind blowing in my hair
and a smile on my face that smells like cotton candy
with a warm bread smell in the air
welcoming me home
to a soft warm pillow
that bites my cheek and tells me "you're such a fool."
I tell myself "I'm not a fool."
Tell me this is comfort,
tell me this is home.
I've lost myself to a dream that only a song could sing,
only a painting could picture
and only a dream could imagine.

My blueberry pancakes were purple
So tasty, with pure maple surple
I ate the whole pile
and with a smug smile
I produced an enormous burple
I googled and ‘burple’ is a real word but my definition of it would be when your tummy gurgles and causes you to burp
Poem came about as a result of a mail with Richard - I said there was no word to rhyme with purple and he told me about a song called "Dang Me." which was written and performed by Roger Miller and it contains the word 'surple'

make your way out of the room
never look back.
