Now I Know

Now I Know

Some things in life are too hard to swallow, I guess
And there are others that seem impossible to digest

I just called to let you know,
I should have never let you go

If I could just hold you in my arms today,
I would never let you slip away

I know that my time for you may have passed
I also know that it’s my fault that we didn’t last

I know now that you are the one that God did send
I’m just so awfully sorry that I never knew it then
