or brand new
space to grow and learn

Some think we’re only here,
by chance.

So their perspective on life;
 it’s a dime a dance.

They fail to acknowledge,
a higher power.

Jesus is the one who allows,
each bud to flower.

But once the music stops
it’s time to pay.

We’ll stand before a Holy God
on judgment day.

         Shallow it seems from the  surface

of whether I have a testimony to communicate.
But it’s rather, 
what kind of message am I communicating
with my testimony.

Grocery shopping seems to now have become a stressful event
The cost of food seems to be rising daily with more money having to be spent
Our very existence relies on what we have to eat, not that bottle of wine
People who give out those free samples, we have to jostle just to get in line

Take more drugs for therapy
To avoid stroke.

Steady Eddie was always ready
For meatballs and spaghetti.

Dan the man was a big fan
Of eating eggs with boiled ham.

Bob the slob was on the job
To chew away corn on the cob.

Mitt the git could hardly sit
When served a bowl of shrimp & grits.

Decided to ask the cow out to the Stampede, but he was grounded.

Caught some fish that was wailing from some a-salt and batterin'.

It’s the governments control of your daughter or wife.
My thoughts on abortion will always be a moot point.
Morality is something only God should anoint.

In an ideal world, our children would be raised right.
