"Phoenix Raine"
My fabulous firebird
You burn up with rage
And fall into a pile of hot ashes
Then your tears "Raine" down to put them out
You are renewed
Fresh and ready to share yourself again

During your moontimes
Hormones turn you into a dragon
Protecting your treasures
Your heart, spirit and emotions
With roaring and flames
But that passes too
And once again you share your

Premium MemberThe Rudiments of Wings

From predawn birth, you dwell alone,
Preferring deep shadowland over light.
So much easier to conceal what is shown,
Nascent ember forelimbs that daunt your sight.

With growth in undying murk, and wings in flames
In brilliant reds, yellows, golds all blazing.
Flying is hopeless with birds of other names.
Passions rage from wings, arresting, so amazing.

Oh firebird, searing, sizzling, soaring,

Your phoenix tattoo
Etched in inks, black, red and blue.
Firebird for Firebrand.
Risen, emancipated,
Unshackled from broken love.

Dance of the Firebird

Dance of the Firebird

Rosita, sultry enchantress,
dazzling Andalusian firebird,
erotically she twirls, proud
like a phoenix flashing across the sky.

Flared ruffled skirt swirls,
in hues of red, orange, and gold,
like a sunset in the throes of Autumn.
Her olive skin glistens with sweat,
as she chases away her demons with
handclapping and a pair of castanets.

Beautiful dancer lost in her

Fly Firebird Fly

I hear voices and I hear vexes...I hear screams and striking matches
I sense evil eyes on eggs now hatching
I can see a sea of static now the smoke it makes me blind
I hear wicked wings start flapping wild
Destination...devastation
Fly firebird fly

Discoveries they get made...many dark and dangerous
Like volcanoes full of vengeance... Like ticking time bombs set

Oh he was deep black and so shiny in the sun,
I fell in love the moment I first saw him;
There was a need to have him- this was no whim,
I could see us together, it was a love staggering.
Oh he wasn't a man but a car, a Pontiac Firebird,
So

Firebird

Every night by candlelight I go to you on the wings of
a Firebird and you are there waiting for me in your
red cape where fire burns outside the snow...
you reach out for me without saying a word, I reach out
to touch your face and I whisper in your ear, “I love
you more than life it's

Like a Firebird

Like a whiff of pungent smoke
morality hurts.
The inner song dies
in chorus of sharp tongues.

Anger beats the wall
causes no beginning,
no ending.
A naked shadow burns.

The voice on the edge of truth
jumps in the dust of lies
like a firebird
bathes in immortal grief.

For deliverance from the depravity,
one who calls you a name.
How I longed to invoke
a time outside the
