Fiance Poems

At my first sight of him,
I saw such a benevolence,
the Cuban youth with mocha skin
and bright root beer-brown eyes,
he only loved me,
I, a frivolous woman.
He was nineteen, I was twenty-two,
his steadfast devotion of heart,
my UK heritage fire.

How I wish I could send him a message
through the timelessness of poetry,
breathed into his dreams by an angel,

The Fiance Poem

Through the wind
Through the flood
You are my shelter like a real man should

Through the fire
Through the flame
It ain’t fair
I feel no heat-you shield me
I feel no fire related pain

You are the driving force
God put in place
For me to reach my potential
At a faster pace
And blessings exponential

With you I’m in my happy place
When you don’t

if she understood his full evilness
in his utter selfishness
would her love for him wane

if she discerned his mysterious self
hidden away quite nicely
would she take love and run?

For My Fiance

He Is Too Good To Be True!!

When I first meet you we were suppose to be friends
Who would of thought that I would love you in the end?
We talked and talked for months and months
Got to know each other in a way that no one would
I didn't want to give you my heart

My Fiance Visits My Father's House

My Fiance Visits My Father’s House

The two Gibraltars in the yard
never were delivered.
They have always been there.
The twenty years I lived there,

the neighbors never said a word.
Their shrieks would shatter both
if they could see them.
The redwood fence my Father built

is tall enough to cover his.
It will be tall enough, he swears,
for me

Running From My Fiance

Trudging threw darkness i past threw the light.
Running from violence, my fiance's delight.
As i turned on the light fear grasped my sight,
i fought with my will power and i fought with my soul
i collected my strengh its time to let go.
I grabed my babies and run for my life,
i'm running from my fiance but heavens

To My Other Half, My Fiance

May this piece of art live in thy heart and soul for eternity
I counted the days, the minutes, seconds even until this day
For as long as I can recall, you have been my sight
I have wept over thy love, and I would gladly die for your well being

You once testified to the chant of the
