Feature, Fire

Dashes, burst in flashes!
Apostrophes, aim well!
Commas, strong thy slashes!
Punctuation, pell-mell!

Ancient pyramid, the moon.
When you gaze, seen: what?
Troubadour, best hold thy tune!
Poet, make the cut!

Toil, recoil, beneath the soil.
Ensconce, O seance.
Ailing patient, insides roil?
Mud, sir. For the nonce.

Ivy, cover all you see.
As a blanket be.
Greenery, grow constantly!
Ocean link to sea!

Causal chain, blight with thy bane?
Well, friend, I'd best not.
Reality to remain?
Death is thine, robot.

Spirit of tomorrow!
In thy name we invoke!
Bitter is to borrow.
Signal well, O smoke.

Lightning, storms. They come in swarms!
Angry spirit forms!
Nightmare, violate the norms!
He who freezes warms!

Thus lava, O volcano!
Eruption, firework!
Dappled roe, run mid the flow!
Carrion crow, berserk!

Gaza’s not a bug it’s a feature

Gaza’s not a bug it’s a feature
This is what the west wants to teach ya
Keep off our green green grass
Or we’m a kick y’all’s ass

Gaza’s not a bug it’s a feature
Pull up a ringside seat, yeah
We want you to hear all the crying
We want you to smell all the dying

Gaza’s not a bug it’s a feature
Sit down and listen to teacher
Trust not your ears or your eyes
Trust in our beautiful lies

Gaza’s not a bug it’s a feature
We’ve always used this procedure
Learn you what’s wrong and what’s right
In the glare of our big gas light

Gaza’s not a bug it’s a feature
Deep in your mind we defeat ya
Fret not what’s right or what’s wrong
Just bend the knee to the strong

Gaza’s not a bug it’s a feature
This is just rinse and repeat yeah
Korea Iraq Vietnam
Who’s our next Passover lamb?

Gaza’s not a bug it’s a feature
Take it from the mad street preacher
Truth is to buy and to sell
We make the heaven and hell

Gaza’s not a bug it’s a feature
You’re not like us? We delete ya
Agent Smith’s hand in your chest
Now you’re a Smith like the rest

Triple Feature

The Word Nerd Goblin Man

Too many words were inside
The Word Nerd Goblin Man’s brain.
Every time he went for a run outside
words spilled out of his ears onto the lane.

                         Loner Fairy Woman

She loved alone time more than anything.
It became her only friend.
She named it Everything.

                             Troll Woman

Troll Woman was such a book nerd
that when she gave birth to letters stirred
instead of babies thin furred
she didn’t think that at all was absurd.

Waking up with glee
my son welcomes gracious day
praying, giving thanks
midst praise sign language…
can he utter grateful sounds?
yes, God understands.
He seeks for his book.
Is that a favorite one?
Bible with pictures…
Flipping every page
he claps at the sight of ark…
“Have you seen the ape?
…how about big ant,
antelope, armadillo…
all in floating zoo?”
Then he closes book
for delightful bathing spree…
How does he manage?
He gladly gestures…
“Mother is always ready”
“Right, Mommy dearest?”
Well, indeed so, by God’s grace.*

*2 Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Giraffe

A sideways grin,
With spots up to your chin.

Fuzzy horns adorns
Your Velvet eyelashes,
And your eyes from within.

So friendly you seem,
With a smile that beams.

Your chin whiskers protrude,
Giving you a sassy attitude.

Mars is such a long way off
Flying there could be quite tough
Let's set up intermediate stations
On each one take long vacations

If we ever get to Mars, then good
And if not ~ Well, that's Hollywood!

Double Feature
David J Walker

Every today
	And
Every tonight
10,000 ways to
To capture each in
High gloss
Black & White

All in sequenced order
When touched turned into a
Moving motion picture
Framed in Technicolor

While I take my seat
At the border
Repeating the lines
That were mine
Now printed and cut
The best left on the
Editors floor

And still,
I come back for more
Another double feature
With my name framed
In the lights of the Marque

Canary Birds Are a Feature of Canary Islands

Canary birds are a feature of Canary Islands,
But in the Canary Islands, their is not so easy to found.
On the Virgin Islands are problems of similar kinds,
One can barely see any canaries flying around!

His Favorite Feature

He couldn’t get the memories straight, the structure of her face, her eye color, just her.He asked himself multiple times how do i regain all of this back i want her back.Halfway through the nights he couldn’t bare the pain no longer for those late night thoughts when his eyes decided to shut she wouldn’t be on his mind for all those hours that's what he feared most.He is lost not knowing why she was fading it had only been one year why he asked repeatedly.he didn't know what to be thinking she left with no note or goodbye left behind. For all he knew she was lost to.He didn't know what to think anymore.

Friend Had a Feature

Friend Had A Feature

A friend of mine had a fine feature;
Had ability to speak like a teacher;
Patience too;
Always knew;
About any subject were a reacher.

Next Year, In the Movie Titles, To Any Feature Film

Next year, in the movie titles, to any Feature Film,
It will be mandatory to state such an important factor,
" No animals were eaten, maimed or killed,
And there was no sexual harassment of any actor!"

Best Safety Feature Found Around

Best Safety Feature Found Around

Went to have car annual safety inspection.
They had an NRA magazine there with
Trump on it. Looked through it and all
I saw was death and killing so I wrote
this Horn limerick.

Here is what I have to say about handgun;
Never think about owning or having one;
We are always afraid,
When they were made,
From time sun came up and day is done.

There is love from the other side of the feature
Don't you feel the angle of time of nature

Black Cloud Feature

Lost black clouds skitter across the sky
ice backs
reach to connect
black clouds as the blow across my window
heavy rain for days now
lost black clouds blow black against my eyes
I close them
lost in summary
lost in allegory
just
lost

Every Curve Every Feature

My one true love,

The loveliest creature,

A pair of emerald eyes,

Blazing promised paradise,

Silken lips, full with fiery passion,

No more beautiful figure, could anyone ever fashion,

First saw her, on that Puerto Vallarta moonlit night,

Seeing first only beauty, then love by morning's light,

We laughed and loved that week on Aztec's ancient shore,

My Mexico goddess had filled this lonely heart completely to the core,

A wedding worthy of heaven we had that following year,

Held each other in sweet love's embrace,

Vowing forever with joy's lingering tear,

Three wonderful years each morning seeing her face,

Hoping for no end to this married bliss,

Then, kneeling shattered at her death bed,

Saying goodbye with one last kiss.

(In memory of Rebecca, I LOVE YOU, missing you so much!)

Being built from its foundation into tower scraping sky.
It can fly like no other bird to places never seen,
Even spaceships can only dream of taking its place."
