My group of friends befriended a visiting Norwegian couple. When I asked if they happen to know my childhood friend, they jumped up shouting my friends were their best friends in Norway. Sequel – the third childhood buddy happened to be in the Bay Area the day we were having a farewell barbecue. She came. We took pictures. They kept the pictures a secret until a dinner party.
