passing years and Google

Passing years and Google

I wonder how old one has to be to have a dignified life, Google wants to re-identify myself
It appears there are many of me
They sent me a form where I have to place figures where they sit and move around
the problem is my eyesight is not good after
all at 86 six I’m not a Falk-eyed Indian
How this test can prove whether I’m me and not a company I don’t know
As it is I can’t log into X where I have 200 followers, which at my age is encouraging that there are people who like my view about politics and life in general
Old age is not for the insipid, we who are classified as old suffer joint pains and have legs unwilling to carry us around
Our minds are not as old as our bodies we have tons of experience to divulge, the politics of today have happened before, we know
Is there or should, there be a cutoff point to life
Say at 75 but we old think 75 is young, I even had girlfriends back then, who thought I was handsome; they should see me now!
I feel resentful, that Google in its hunt for
Fake accounts have singled me out after twenty years of loyal service

Jump

" She decided to jump,right from the top,mind was set,no way to stop..Free as a bird,life gone in a flash,hit the ground with a thud,as pedestrians pass...

Secret Places

Secret Places

Sitting Alone
On a blanket made for two
Beneath the pines
That empty place is saved for you

I stare up
Into that canopy of green
Memories engulf me
You lying there was the most beautiful thing I have seen

Do you remember this place
Where we loved and held each other near
Our bodies twisted as one,
Do you remember all the quiet moments we had together here?

I find myself on trails
Wandering to and fro
I always wind up in places
Only you and I know

In a place they call Falk
As I walk where we would dream
My hands are missing yours and are empty now
Only our coyote friend is witness as I scream

I wonder when you close your eyes
Can you picture us here
Do you remember us as we were
When you often said I love you dear

You see my love all these special places
They should be filled by two
Each isn't nearly as beautiful
Without me and you

Just Plodding Along To a Little Life Song

It helps if ya choose to be good in ya life
To heck with the Web of deceit, struggles & strife.
Be good to others but be wary too
Cos not all of da' people are the same as you.

Be generous & kind ...
I don't mean with ya pennies.
Just be there with an ear to lend to a friend
Be it James jimmy or jennies.

Don't talk over people just have a little bit of respect
But remember in your own needs to never neglect.
Be true to yaself others and all
And life will be good I'm return & down you won't falk

There was a time when you could hold me
But I have since learned to walk
Another when thoughts seemed to cage me
Now digital is a relational talk
Imagine unique ways to display yourself
Try and shun what they will balk
Stand in the places outside of yourself
Let your mind free you as a falk

Farewell Falk

I have something to say and it isn't just talk.
We lost an actor who was named Peter Falk.
He always beat the bad guy at the end of each show.
Falk did an excellent job as Lieutenant Columbo.
His acting ability left many fans in awe.
He also did a great job in 'The in-laws'.
I began watching Columbo in 1989 at the age of seventeen.
The first show that I watched was the one with the guillotine.
His health deteriorated and it was too much for this brave man to sustain.
Before he died, he couldn't even remember Columbo because he was in such pain.
Peter Falk starred as Columbo from 1968 to 2003.
He was a great actor and I hope everyone agrees.

(DEDICATED TO PETER FALK WHO DIED JUNE 23, 2011.)
