Eye Of The Hurricane

If birds of a feather flock together
altho' it's a fact
how do opposites
like you and I attract?

North and south two similar poles
on opposing sides of the street
repel and push each other away
and so the twain shall never meet.

If there's a magnetic attraction
between you and me
then opposite poles be we
and as I recall you're not repellent at all
in truth quite the magnetic personality.

Visions from last September SS

As I look in union of singularity in a world of complexe opposition and harmony.
A splinter in the heart of dream and tearing in the blood cells.
I slaughtered the necks of hopes, bleeding the burning from pains.
A mirror of dry salt-tears reflects the fracture.
And the self has nothing left but the desire to vanish the whole structure.
After long waiting and the stalling of suicide attempts
From exhaustion I feel no enough essence for two lives.
The first, in exile.
The second in the middle between a kiss of the eye
The eye that does not weep, it only stares.
Gazing to reveal contemplations about the soul’s hidden monuments,
Peering over thresholds to inspect the secrets of the universe.
I pluck out the snail of my ear; I try to listen to the echo of the hoarse voice,
Fixing my gaze on the bridge’s edge,
where the wave casts obscene images:
Of tortured bodies and heads cut off before inspiration could visit them.
Because God refused to touch them,
Yet the devil from the pit touched them.
A train without a ticket to take me where there is no memory,
No memory except that I come from afar,
And that the heart is the single meaning of iron.

Words

Words are enough.

They don't some overdramatized definition of them,
Don't be a fool to explain it to me.
I'd rather die a lonely and cruel death, by my own hands.

Words —
They don't come easy, do they?

The blurry effect on my left iris left me partially blind.
It tears my other eye to see it in the mirror.

Words, they are spat out like fetid, rotting chunder,
Why do they taste so putrid and smell so obnoxious?

When I try to let them out, they escape through my eye,
Leaking and spewing festering dross.

Technicolor yawn mimics the man in the mirror and then
He would call in sick the next day.

As the pus decay in the drought and barren land of my eye,
I was recommended using Ciprofloxacin.

Words —
Words like "I need help" and "why does it hurt so bad?"
I wish I never knew how to speak.

Instead of the infection of my worm-eaten and vile eye,
I desiderate it be my mouth rather.

Words like these are what made me feel how I feel now,
Enervated and debilitated.

I had heard there were dangers in the Amazon
But I had travelled down this river for three days
without feeling threatened

Enjoying the colorful birds
with their tweets and whistles
today the monkeys were screaming and leaping

I wondered what spooked them
Ten yards from me there was a tiny part in the grasses
I saw a large eye, and I knew

Where stars weave though velvet sky
Is born a limpid nebula to eye.

Shining smartly in the soft night,
                                                        Twinkling with an outlying light
                                                          All across the shadowy sky,
                                                          Radiates beauty to the eye.

Premium Member An Eye for an Eye

Some people say revenge is sweet,
but its true source is from beneath.
The cycle of violence it spawns,
new horrors breed as each day dawns.

When wrong is done, justice demands,
wrongdoers, for trial must stand.
After the facts are exposed,
a just sentence must be imposed.

An eye for an eye was first meant
Ongoing blood feuds to prevent.
“Don’t take revenge,” is what God says
“Vengeance is mine, I will repay.”

When you are wronged, don’t start a fight,
because two wrongs never make a right.
Vow to repay evil with good
Follow God’s way, live as you should.

One day soon, when sin its course has run
God will judge all for what they have done.
When all wrongs are brought into view,
each one will receive their just due.

Eye of Nature

There ….yonder…
Don’t you see?
Right down the bluff
across from the canopy of trees
past a pool of stagnant waters
overrun by reeds and wild flowers.

Yes, right over there…
is a range of lush rolling hills
as if wrapping blue sky in its folds.

A mantle of lazy mist hovers over the peaks
unsure to linger around or move on.
Hands of teasing breeze sweep
over the leaves tickling them
to giggle and quiver in sheer delight,
and a bunch of bawdy birds playing
tag-and-run between flower-laden boughs.

Sitting far above
on the balcony in your wheelchair
you can feel it all
in your soul
if only you dare to look over there…
Close your eyes and see!

"Mmm, Wary you should Be!"

The Course? The Course?
No Soda Can to Sea?
"Mmm, Ferry not for Me!"

Brute Force! Brute Force!
Will Chewy go with Thee?
"Mmm, Hairy, not for Me!
