Notes About The Poem

Flowers as far as the eye can see

Meadow of clustered flowers
fragrant bouquets of petals
pinks purples yellows whites
~ a delightful extravaganza

Spreading their joy like tentacles
they entice butterflies and bees
while the sun keeps busy
caressing this wild ageless garden

Dear Line, I love the way you described the garden’s joyful dance with the butterflies and bees, so full of life and timeless beauty. It’s like a little pocket of magic in the everyday it brought a calm, sunny smile to my day. Blessings, My Dear Line, Daniel

You paint a beautiful picture with your poetic words, Line. Thank you. Bill p.s. we saw the most beautiful field the other day while driving through the countryside ... thousands of planted and grown tall sunflowers ... the yellow was entrancing. Have a pleasant weekend, my friend.

Awesome ~ I hope you took a photo... although sometimes the impression engraved in our mind is enough. I remember seeing a few bison (instead of cattle) on the side of the highway... they're usually brown but these were a beautiful soft shade of creamy beige ~ it was magical. No photo but the memory is still in my head.

Just last week, we encountered field after field of sunflowers....they'd been planted in neat rows as far as the eye could see. It was quite spectacular!
