Where's The Pink-Footed Goose

Where's the pink-footed goose that evil-minded Warde
tried to catch? Didn't the bird follow his shrieking horde?
He was parched on the white oak over the small lake,
On Monday he was startled by the total solar eclipse!

Birds like their freedom, nobody should cage them;
they'll die a horrible death: no sun, no spring in bloom!
If the human spirit is isolated, it'll feel the same effect;
set all your prisoners free, extend your visual aspect!

Don't I miss the pink-footed goose quite and beautiful?
He knew I wouldn't harm him and swooping down
to pick up his breadcrumbs, he got close feeling grateful;
without warblers, there'll be no sounds at rising dawn!

Where's the pink-footed goose that I watched
from below with a curious glance, he didn't warble
or chase after a butterfly, his silence was miserable;
did he grieve his long-gone feathered friend?

Geese grieve too, it's not only humans who do;
take in consideration their sorrow: we are alike!
I keep coming to this lake where white doves coo;
they miss their friend: their cry is far from divine!

A Couplet Of The Times

We now are living/existing in unprecedented times,
streets filled with looters and unchecked crimes.

Activist’s destroy statues that they deem offensive,
and this inevitably leads to a counteroffensive.

Covid-19 and protests are taking their toll,
and racism is on the tongue of each wretched soul.

Lost jobs and businesses are weekly being closed,
and things are much worse than most presupposed.

Our inability to stop time from destroying our wealth,
has an adverse effect on our mental health.

Evil minded people won’t allow hate’s improvement,
and daily some loud mouth starts another movement.

It seems that in this life we’ll never see peace,*
“cause the wheel that squeaks the loudest, always gets the grease”

*1 Thessalonians 5:3(KJV)
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Change

CHANGE
Need change not change you know,
we Africans need to be united and live together in harmony,
whites and blacks all over the world can be equal,
what is it that is wrong with us?

Hatred,evil minded,jealous that's what we are having,
bad people,drug dealers,robbers and gangs,murders that's
what we are...our government systems are full of corruption
whats wrong people?
lets change,change to the better livings and leave out
our misery and sufferings.

Bob Marley sang for us Africa United,
Nelson Mandela fought for African rights,
Martin Luther King did the same by fighting for a black man's rights,
lets leave out the hatred and doing wrongs then change.

The change am talking about is the change that,
will make us sit on the same table either black,
whites,reds and the whole world in general,
together as one enjoying,working together,
living in the peaceful world,
this could be a better change and its the change am talking about.
so lets start now...

Just a Sonnet Ix

Not adequate soldiers to fight for tomorrow
There halt evil minded men who forethought of the past only
Ears agaze the voice strikes like lightning borrow
Chains on hands money credits downpress a man lonely
Freedom a black man cried for he received free doom
Breathless trees deforested air not tasty
A mosquito he became flip flapping out of the room
Hands of time chase him he remains shunning hasty
Call it the survival of the fittest in the jungle
Can he reign in romans' empire with luscious?
Poison in the air inhaled souls fisticuffs in the royal rumble
Will then men be redolent they swingeing unrighteous
Heart glazed and glittering with pain this a no more dream
The light is unseen there exist scathe to the ultralight beam

Paper Crane

Atrocious Nobugana
will he kill the cuckoo?
You, spring rains, sing
at eaves,
princess heartsick leaves!

Nobunaga-evil-minded
will kill the cuckoo.
Who knows? Maybe a geisha
will dabble his heart
with a song...

Happiness eyedrops
between bloomed cherries.
Warm sights
caress a real dream
in the nest: tweet.

Under the bloomed cherries,
gifted Hideyoshi
is singing a serenade.
Even if it is raining,
in his eyes I see the entire Sun.

Ieyasu- the patient
is waiting in the orchard
to pass the rain-
Opened umbrella
by a flowers curl...

Paper crane carried by the wind...
Susanowa
is vanishing a nightmare
into a love kiss.
An unique little cloud above the palace...

Love poem
far in the skies
lover’s face.
Only Hitomaro knows the snows secret
of the cherry’s flowers .
