Blue Whale

Blue Whale is an internet game involving a series of
tasks that end in suicide, invented by Philipp Budeikin.

Blue Whale

It appears
in Budeikin’s brain.
Its baleen plates will filter
the worthless krill from society,
he envisages.
Swimming alone,
it catches teens.

It challenges Varun
in the ocean of dejection.
He takes on the tasks:
listens
to the lunatic music,
climbs
on a crane,
engraves
a red whale
on his arm
with a pair of compasses…
On the fiftieth day,
he undertakes
the last task
and falls into death
from the top of his broken psyche.

Baffling the whalers,
the blue whale swims
with its mouth open.

If I Am Not This Then Who

Betimes in the noiseless, scary night;
Whenne the Moon and the Stars winkle not as bright'.
Thy child, O My Lord! Recline beneath thy Firmaments
Whenne the greed to surpass beseech Divine for armaments.

Bless me- Almighty! A drop of thy might,
I 'm blind, my Benefactor! A bit of thy divine sight.
I'm esurient for edification and surreal humanity;
O my deity, for thy modicum omniscience and eternity.

Heed my Father, Regard! Thy henchman's dilapidated
Please cosset haste , He's ruffled and mutilated
Braving myself and praying as the sky is louring
An indigent in your unearthly self; his entity He's scouring.

He envisages too: My Lord! is thee thinkin' Am I true?
Then tell Thy Majesty- if I am not THIS then who?
                                                                    (Am I)

Open Arms

He came from a far,
Bearing gifts in a jar,
Presumably with good news,
Little child could only muse,

For all the preparations wrought,
Little child knows not,
Only the guardian relishes,
Meeting with strangers,

Little child gets carried away,
With rage he tries to sway,
Guardian ooh guardian,
But an agreement was already done,

Little child stares at sky blues,
Letting go of reminiscent hues,
And in uncontrollable tears,
Lost deep in despair depths,

Rage outrages itself therein,
Love slowly creeps in,
Little child soundly sleeps,
Comfort envisages in the open arms,

As the night grew short,
Nearer to the destination they got,
His life had just begun,
Witnessed by the rising of the sun.

Heart of Christmas

Hidden amongst the layers of warmth
Eerie snores as the house sleeps
Are a family,
Re-united for the Christmas holiday
tears of joy engulfed their happiness

Ordinary people loving the surprises
forever remembering their Christian upbringing

Children noses red with cold , lanterns lit
hopping from one foot to other…as
roasting in the embers of the fire, chestnuts…their
insides popping in the heat.
So many memories, happy and sad.. envisages
tables laden with food, begging to be ate
Mother fussing over every last detail…prayers said…sit
a family, breaking bread together.
Smiles on faces say it all….Christmas Greetings to everyone.

Autumn Moon

On the invisible screen
upon celestial wings
twilight of autumn moon
swinging gracefully
wooing millions and zillions.

At times she veils behind
passing clouds teasing
all the admiring glance.
Her raiment sways poetically
removing darkness from night.

She personifies romance
in the distinct of distance
flashing clandestine smile.
She is every poet's dream
Who loves to cherish
her charisma in silence.

Every onlooker is in trance
when the dazzling display of vision
disrobes all illusory fantasy.
She envisages piousness.
A poesy beyond lyrical form
shines eternally in perfect milieu.

Premium MemberThe Beauty of Love

T~he minds eye closes and envisages the overflowing of true love from one's
H~eart, gravitating to thy One and Only;
E~scaping in conjunction with

B~rackish water adjoining to thy feet; taking note of the wind whispering
E~ver so seamlessly through thine ears while striding upon the seashore.
A~ccompanied by incessant love; keeping hold of hands on no
U~nearthly occasion of relinquishing. Kissing til nightfall loses its color
T~o the openings of daybreak; swimming amongst the creatures of sea
Y~earning to never part, til the extent life ventures to vanish...yet...

O~ftentimes the minds eye reopens to reality; though
F~or the time being

L~et's live every moment as
O~ur last, tracing God first and
V~ersifying our lives to that of the world as such...
E~veryone shall witness and behold The Beauty of L~O~V~E.

Bathroom Engaged

There he blows
on his way to the gents
Book in hand
we all know
this is where
he shall be occupied
for the next half hour

Imagination envisages
him making himself
comfortable
There for a duration
Intent on sinking
his teeth into several chapters
of the latest James Patterson

Belt slowly snakes
to the floor as he sits there
concentrating
on task in progress
with trousers half mast
supported by knees
Book on lap

A certain familiar
thunder echoes
through the house
Stench slowly seeping
through under door
Leaves mum running
for the air fragrancers

Doors and windows
are opened as mother
tries to ‘air’ the house
as she goes about
her business cleaning
the house until it shines
bright as a freshly minted coin

Eventually father emerges
Fresh and relaxed
Missing one gas mask
Mum trepidly takes a breath
and dives into the bathroom
Intent on finishing her work
disguising Dad’s omissions

Bathroom engaged again
Mother’s work never done
and yet as she vacates
a beautiful flowery scent
followers her through
The empty room vacantly awaiting
Welcoming next guest.
