     When you force Mr. Zelinsky
to feed the Putineers who’ve bulldozed Ukraine.

     That’s when I’ll pressure Israel
to give Hamas’ Gazastanis more grain

Contemptibly craven
Oratory obfuscates
Never nuanced
Gerrymandering guile
Readily reacts to roaring rabble
Egregiously expects economic encouragement
Smug, self-righteous and self- serving
Slippery sounding sound bites

Detractors and Libelers

DETRACTORS AND LIBELERS :

Living in the world with detractors,
Moving egregiously with libelers.
They always try killing our dreams,
Because their lives never gleams.
When we put on the coat of vigor,
They see us to be a generational threat.
And they tag us with an evil ribbon,
By wishing us nothing but death.
Anytime we plan,we successfully win,
And our hearts pours out a lasting grin,
Inasmuch as God's love for us is deep.

But they always grow sad and weep,
Since their aims are never achieved.
They aim at getting us badly digraced,
Only because we look extremely great.
So based on their vicious aberrations,
They undertake daily cladestine operations,
Just to destroy our blessed lives,
At any given time...both day and night.
So we really got to tread cautiously,
By acting prayerfully and discreetly,
Until we leave this world of detractors,
Made up of so many libelers,
Who can never take away our powers.
For we are blessed and heavenly covered.

Premium MemberA Tragic Affiance

Absurdity walked this path of a whorish lane,
Dauntingly decked in a dark seductive garb
Egregiously seeks the thrones by craftiness,
Nebulous transverse for the wayfaring man.
Illusions of a well worn thigh concealed with facial mascara.
Killjoy bipolar nagging for control, demanding dominance by demonic antics,
Eccentric public commodity makes it the brothels for quickie.

Acrimony well taught from the market square by “Iyaloja”
Damaging defiance conscripting father to “garri Ijebu” and Fish
Egomania derailed from home and deprived of morals,
Sagged and perforated lurid frame perfumed for a prey
Offensive forlorn factious feigned facades
Lacklustre and noxious mien seduced the prey by lewd bait,
Absurd Incentive the goal, merchandise of greed, A week of affiance.

Tangled Tenebrious Time

The titans of time bring me back,
as I stare at a vision of long ago…
memories muffled in their menagerie,
serendipitous storms caught between;
                    tangled tenebrious time…
as the cathedrals crumble to the ground

the memories cyclone within pensive prayers,
for I then fall to my knees…
hopeless, I egregiously encroach,
the battle and the war rages on amidst;
                    tangled tenebrious time…
I then seduce the nilpotent night

my spirit sorely stands by the wayside,
wounded and watching a weighted will…
your love limited my longing,
imprisoning impulses idling in the beast of;
                    tangled tenebrious time…
thus I am back as the visions of you fade.

Premium MemberSpring

Today, the long lost sun
hides and peeks, poking
patches of snow to evaporate.

Green tinges from trees
faintly shine through
bare branches,
a halo effect.

Yawning yellow daffodils nod,
egregiously succeeding
navigation of lingering
winter weather.

Lack of spring's sun
contributes to
lackadaisical plant growth,
fostering fortuitous
environmental confusion.

Nature awaits spring's
steady stream
of daylight to
energize and incite
trees and flowers
to bloom.

Premium MemberSpring Peekaboo

Today, the long lost sun plays peekaboo,
prodding patches of snow to evaporate.
Green tinges on trees faintly accentuate
bare branches with a halo effect in view.
Yawning yellow daffodils nod and protrude,
after egregiously succeeding to navigate
winter weather alerts sent to intimidate.
Tornadoes rage in April's snowstorms too.
Lackadaisical plant growth from lack of light
fosters fortuitous environmental confusion.
Steady streams of daylight spurn roots to incite
trees and flowers to bloom almost overnight.
Animals shedding winter fur is not an illusion.
Awaiting spring tends to aggravate and delight.

Premium MemberSurrender Or Die

A miasma of memories… nights in solitude
Spiraling perdition… shadows intrude
Underlying trepidation… behind vacant eyes
A journey interrupted… by pathetic lies

Abysmal human flaw… egregiously depraved
Disguised in shining armor… sanity unsaved
A heart deeply damaged… no diastolic rhythm
A skeleton of tragedy… a diabolic victim

Psychopathic vengeance... brainwashed auras
Sinister and lurking… trapped in night horrors
Phantom turbulence … cause unknown
Screaming nightmares… voice is your own

Thuds of heavy footsteps… following behind
Dreadful premonitions… racing in your mind
Full body tremors… demons dance nearby
Destruction of a lost soul... surrender or die

Defeated

Have you ever
experienced a back
lashing?
By a thick, pliable whip?
It's nothing compared to
her tongue lashing,
An egregiously scalding
dip.

Have you ever carried
a
thorny crown?
With such comfort on
your
brow?
It's nothing compared to
her piercing frown,
So intense it fills one's
soul with awe.

Her fury, only Hades
can
compare
Yet he dares drizzle
blood
on her boisterous flame.
Her fate struck, she
prowls in gloom and
more,
in shame.
The lamb did snatch
victory in the tigress's
lair!
