Premium Member runny eggs

letters never rhyme with words,
like the moon's distant from the sun,
hissing are the bats so unheard
and pleading is no-one.
Forests burn by the mornings
and.....painted are the reds,
skulls since Racism
of hating the Indians
or the Mexicans.
Or the Latinos,
Or the blacks,
He's worse than sins
banked chips in casino
over the dearth of a river's banks.

Street-lights flickering
Until Dawn whitens.
Pebble beaches hurt the feet.
Propaganda's sunken
to ease the pain of our toes
An edge of stones we knew,
and how the searches glow
Cold are the ifs and the hows
And Barista coffee of mornings
seize a moment and lose the speech,
I stopped believing since the last chill
of an unknown of a dying will,
and now moving in the Russians....
Vodka with ice-blocks orange

I once had love,
in my child's tummy,
Sighted above,
eggs runny,
walked before the dummy...
Quake from the above
English 18th century

I once had love,
in a child's tummy,
Sighted above,
eggs runny,
bulldog scummy
I'm flying boxing gloves
as the day's now sunny.......

You can't haphazardly
destroy what is already
not fractured but broken.

Premium Member Coffee and Eggs

I wondered how her kiss would seem.
Drifting, I found out in a dream.
I felt the love that was concealed
as soft and tender lips would yield.

What do I want for breakfast?
The question surely begs.
I'll stop at Mabel's diner
for black coffee and eggs.

I slid into an empty chair
and gazed from her shoes to her hair.
Yet, I would not be unmasked
when my lovely Mabel asked,

"What do I want for breakfast?"
The question surely begs.
"I'm growing sleepy on the road.
I'll have coffee and eggs."

What if loneliness lay eggs

Her loneliness begs
Mine: come sometime just to meet.
Scared, it might lay eggs,
I waver, never commit,
And ever since from far greet.

Here Comes the Bunny!

(Easter Bunny Song)

Here comes the bunny with a wiggle and a hop,
Bringing jellybeans and eggs that plop!
With a basket full of magic and a trail of cheer,
He hides little treasures once a year!

He’s got pink paws and a cotton tail,
Zooming through gardens and bunny trails.
If you see a flash of fluff, don’t blink too slow--
That sneaky bunny's always on the go!

He paints with pastels, and he never gets caught,
Delivering chocolate when no one’s been taught.
So grab your basket, let the giggles run free--
It’s Easter morning for you and me!

Premium Member In Your Easter Bonnet

She, in her Easter bonnet
Standing beneath the shade,
Alongside gentlemen in top hats
To view an Easter parade

Church bells ring distantly
Showy, white lilies sway,
Waving to sweet daffodils
On this springtime holiday

Baskets with chocolate rabbits
Jelly beans and colored eggs,
Are carried by happy children
Running by on pudgy legs

A whirl of pastel colors
Meant to delight the eye,
Like the first time seeing
A robin or a butterfly

Joyous music fills the air and
Easter dinner is on the way,
Ham and pineapple wait at home
To round out this special day!

Premium Member What A Cracked Easter

"Paint your words with pretty colors, as you paint your pretty eggs with color"

Before we know it,
Easter will bring a new outfit.
Colorful eggs will be here soon so don't blink,
dye your eggs~blue~yellow~purple~pink.
Pretty color eggs we will eat,
they taste much better than a red beet.
Oh no my new dress,
the egg made a big mess.
Cracked egg shells will be all over,
save some for the garden bedcover.
Pretty colorful flowers will soon takeover.

Premium Member Threading The Lines For Easter

The Easter Bunny brought me a basket filled with candy
Can I find many pretty colorful eggs
Everyone wants a stuffed bunny and that will be very dandy
Daddy and Mommy I fell and skinned my legs
Let everyone drink but I am way too young for brandy
Better watch out I am too young to drink and will see the feds.

Egg prices are cracking the ceiling,
as, not too well, the birds are feeling,
but you won't see me wear a frown,
as cupcakes and cookies have gone down.
