More than Milk and Eggs
More
than
milk and eggs We wait
as the chilled shelves fill up
with Thanksgiving
Almost in his tween hands, but it was
pumpkin, bleck
Aww, the tongue and throat
ready
for a coat
as it rains, as it pours
a
tall
glass
of eggnog satisfaction
a holiday treat
dusted with love
can’t
wait
