Economic Crisis

When Politics is preferred over Economics this condition happens. One feels sorry for the young and poor;however, the rich, the elite and the politicians are eating biryani and drinking whisky, waiting for their UK visas to be expedited.India became secular and Pakistan non secular.India is way ahead of Pakistan. As usual, they never discuss zafar supari and najeeb sultan type people eating up
all the money. The exponential growth in Pakistan's population which exerts tremendous pressure on resources.Bhutto says We will eat grass, even go hungry, but we will get one of our own Atom bomb now enjoy Economic Crisis. Note.Najeeb Sultan Millionaire & Zafar Gold Khan Billionaire are you HAPPY??

It's Liz's Turn

Go Man, Go with Liz.
That girl's got so much whizz.
Say goodbye to sorrows
as she, borrows, borrows, borrows.
Our nation's fortune waxes
the more she cuts those taxes.
She relishes a fight,
not she some 'Maggie Lite'.

Macron and Putin shake and shudder
Now 'tis Liz who holds the rudder.

Premium Member The Survival

To live or to survive
It is a hard time
After the epidemic
Comes the economic crisis
Not enough food
We grow our own vegetables
Not enough chickens
We rear our own chickens
Nothing to do with money
But when not enough money
People can bribe
We can do nothing
Even when we retire with some money
They cannot buy all the necessities
And happiness
We still have to work
To crack our heads
To survive
To feed ourselves
With organics
With vaccines
With logics
With humanity
And so
We have to believe that
God will only help those
Who help themselves

Premium Member A Never Ending Story

Besides love and happiness
The world is full of sufferings
Political crisis, economic crisis, epidemics and poverty
Slanders, violations, crimes and trafficking
Politicking, hegemony, disputes and wars
A never ending story of sufferings
Hardly any solutions
But becomes great inspiration for
Story tellers
Art pieces
Poems writers
And
An old grandmother's story for the next generation
Of course an unerasable scandal

Poems Related To War- Painful Facts

The causes of World War I,

factors such as political,
territorial
NATIONALISM,
and economic competition,
BENEFITS,
and not to let it ocur,
the breakdown of the balance of power
SUPERIORITY
as well as a series of diplomatic clashes
PRIDE

The causes of World War II

strong currents of revanchism in German politics,
PRIDE;
the worldwide economic crisis,
BENEFITS,
many people lost faith in democracy
and countries across the world
turned to authoritarian regimes,
and their ambitious and aggressive domestic and foreign policies
NATIONALISM

To those three peculiarities – NATIONALISM, PRIDE, BENEFITS,
we should also add two more today – OVER POPULATION that the earth cannot feed,
and CLIMATE CHANGE

What do you think the causes of World War III will be?
Well, no need to be a prophet to say what will happen
Now all those outcomes are visible in our time
Nevertheless,
The only thing that we want is
to live all around the world in peace
how can we manage to do that?
In the way one of the greatest leaders in history,
Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK said
“PEACE AT HOME, PEACE IN THE WORLD”

Premium Member The Five Dollars Business

Every good is selling at
Five dollars per piece
Attending to the poor
The low income groups
The people in needs
The non-fix salary groups
Fighting with
The tide of inflation
The economic crisis
Thank God
The plights of the poor
Never to be overlooked

Premium Member A Poem For My Mommy

How loaded is the word Mother-with dirty diapers, running noses
Late night upchuck, the bedtime stories and *the Diwali delicacies.
Seeing chaos, mess, too much noise, squabbles and broken toys
My mother said at bedtime kiss,” why do you multiply my woes?

We had very tough time – the economic crisis for a short period
Only four loafs of wheat for the five members sometimes we had.
She would promptly announced, she'd already her share of bread
“I was soo……. hungry, I had mine” she would dramatically add.
Though we all knew it, she wouldn't eat alone leaving us behind.
That expression for sometime became her nota bene in her mind.

Some mothers are kissing, some are scolding, & some are the both
However it is love all the same and Mommy, you're both for our growth.

I See Beyond

I see beyond the painted smiles of the greatest politicians,
I hear beyond the words of faulty preachers who speak about afflictions,
I see beyond the economic crisis that keeps so many in fear,
I hear beyond the trivial chatter in a room filled with endless beer,
I see beyond the crooked look when the landlord raised the rent,
I hear beyond the pickup line presented as a compliment,
I see beyond the apology when humility took three weeks,
I hear beyond the child’s grumble when she was told no more hide and seek,
I see beyond not meeting his mother too soon to avoid a catastrophe,
I hear beyond the word maybe, that means NO usually.

Economic Crisis - Finding a Way

(07/21/11)

They asked: who do we turn to
When the politicians no longer care?
And the word change is flying in the air.
Every country, every island, every nation
Is feeling this devastation.
Only 10% of the world-are well to do
But they’ve forgotten about me and you.

90% of the world population
Are the only ones who care
But the other 10% their power and wealth
They do not want to share.

No one wants their countries torn apart
They love it - soul and heart.
They are tired of being the victims
In this unjust world, and it affects
Every person- down to our boys and girls.

We know the politicians can not
help every one in distress
But stop lining your pockets
Give it a rest.

All the public wants is a fair share
Give them that - show them you care.
If the public was to stop buying
For a day or a week
The ripple affect would reach its peak.

Unfortunately this will affect the small people
Who are trying to earn a living.
They know this, and that’s the reason
They’re not giving.
What is the solution to this world crisis
I can not say- but billions of minds
working together - they can find a way.

Premium Member A Don Quixote and a Sancho Panza-W

Tough time – the economic crisis for a short period
Sometimes for the five members there’ll be few bread.

Mother would declare she'd already her share of bread
“I was soo……. hungry, I had mine” she would add.

Dad, sacrificing his life for my higher education
Worked in a rustic village and living in seclusion.

Scene changed with newly built house quite pleasing
With my name plate "Dr. Ram Mehta, Litt.D" hanging.

Scene changed with those sacrifices in matured years
Acting Moliere in France, in U.K. visit to bards’ houses.

Attending the poetry conferences in three continents
Retired life with kids in USA and India, both democracies.

                                 ***********

*Every autobiography is concerned with two characters, a Don Quixote, the Ego, and a
Sancho Panza, the Self.
